I don?t know why staffs are rude there, bought an iPhone and asks for a better charging cable as the cable provided was broken and they handed me another one which is not a genuine (green color cable). Again asked politely, can I get a new white genuine cable and they responded with attitude like ?that?s the last piece.? There are 1000s of iPhone models on sale and the charging cable is the last piece??? Spent £400+ for iPhone and you don?t get the genuine cable?

took some games into Cex Chelmsford and one off the game did not scan and she took the games round the corner and I did not sell one of the games because it did not scan and now I am out of pocket and without the game.

Dropped off a NES with x2 controllers was only given money for a console and x1 controller also said they'll give me discounted price on a boxed indigo Gamecube as its in bad condition (which it really wasn't) I said you must be joking one guy later admitted they'd probably sell it for full price so I decided to not sell it just the NES I then noticed the memory card was missing from the gamecube box which I 100% knew was in the box. When I came back to get my cash for the NES i questioned the controller and memory card and the lady denied it as on the receipt it only said X1 console test i tried to explain there was x2 she got the girl that served me and she said she couldn't remember some so had to swallow that loss most of the staff are so patronising and rude i now avoid going to this cex there has been more negative than positive experiences

I think I?m done shopping at CEX Chelmsford, which is a shame as I?ve been shopping there for years.
I?m always polite and patient when I go in as I?ve always enjoyed shopping there, but the staff are getting ruder and always seem so disinterested. They half talk to you and barely bother to keep eye contact.
I also attempted to trade an item in that supposedly had a scratch on it (something two staff members whispered to each other), and when the young woman serving me came back she said nothing of the scratch and offered me less money than an older model my partner traded in only days before.
Good customer service honestly costs nothing and I always leave the store feeling like I?ve somehow got on their nerves, which is wild.
Such a shame.
