Ignorant staffs, never feel welcomed ever time I shop in this particular shop. Forever having to chase up staff to help you and staff do not eye contact at all. When you finally approach towards the staff they pass it over to each other. I wanted help of staff to try highlighter but professional staff used wrong brush and I didn?t get the result I was looking for, I did address but she could not even bother to look for the right brush and completely ignored & went back to chat with her colleagues. I don?t know why I always experience same stuff every time I have been to this store to shop. Is it because I come from different ethnicity? Very upsetting ????

I?d like to say thank you to the lovely, knowledgeable and helpful lady who gave me loads of help with The Ordinary skincare this afternoon. You could tell she was passionate about skincare and she gave me some great advice. From one menopausal woman to another - thank you! You understood my concerns, and hopefully we?ve got a good combination of products to address them.

Longest pharmacy queue I have ever seen and only 1 person serving it despite other staff milling about. This is a regular occurrence.

Ioana Gauntlet from the Makeup Department was incredibly helpful in finding the perfect foundation match with NARS and Lancôme. Her dedication to matching the foundation to my skin tone was evident, and I truly appreciated the time she took to assist me. Unlike other employees at the makeup counter, Ioana genuinely cared about her customers. I am grateful for her expertise and thrilled with my purchase. I highly recommend her for all your cosmetic needs; she is exceptional and truly values her clients.

The pharmacy is the busiest one in Chelmsford but there is consistently only one person serving. Wait between 3-4 days from their receipt of the prescription to it being ready. Queue up for 45 mins. Get told to come back in 30 mins then have to queue up again for 45 mins. Change to somewhere else

Visited today with my daughter to buy beauty creams and was very disappointed. The consultants were unhelpful ? one admitted she knew nothing about the products, and the other couldn?t explain the differences for different skin types. They seemed more interested in chatting with each other than assisting customers. Very rude and unprofessional.
** Update 2025: Customer Service continues below par, ridiculous customer service. Dismissive, rude. Its like they are doing a favor to clients by being there. I will never again set foot there.

Born and raised in Chelmsford and I can't tell you the number of times I have had to complain about the staff in this store. Clear discrimination, and it's disgusting. Really ignorant staff in the Chelmsford store and it has been this way for years. Honestly so sick of having to complain. Train your staff to treat all customers equally. I went in today to get this Mascara, and the two staff that were there doing nothing (as always) apart from chatting amongst themselves completely ignored me but when a white lady came along they rushed to help her. I lingered around waiting to be helped but the same thing happened again; another white lady came and they quickly asked if she needed help. This is a reoccurring thing with no7 at this store and it's disgraceful. Fix it!

Clarins consultant lied.
After standing at several beauty counters for a good 10 minutes today, hoping that I would get the attention of a the clarins consultant who was chatting with a group of about 4 other woman and completely ignoring me, she finally asked if needed help in a very fed up and unprofessional manner.
I ask about a product which is relatively new to the market and politely asked if I'd be able to try a sample before purchasing the 60 odd pound cream. (Prior to asking this, was also planning on purchasing a Christmas gift set and a wonder perfect mascara but felt very unwelcome so will purchase from local store instead)
She told me that Clarins aren't giving out samples anymore as they've been "too generous over the years handing them out and now they don't sample" I later looked on line and this is totally untrue; in fact they suggest finding a store which can help with advise and sampling and High Chelmer Chelmsford is one of the stores which do.

I find Chelmsford boots very unwelcoming and rude that I don't even want to shop in chelmford no more I find the whole town very unprofessional and rude I love boots but Chelmsford town lacks professional work experience and a very unwelcome town in general I need to do my shopping else where it's a turn off even comeing in this town everyone is so unprofessional

The pharmacist which you brought to cover for your usual guys on 22 June 2024 is a waste of time. Chatted to the women for ages while the queue with children were waiting for him, eventually got told by the colleagues that people are waiting to talk to him. Came over, hasn?t helped with my meds issue and wasn?t pleasant and attentive in a conversation either. Do not recommend to outsource this Asian guy again, he has no customer centric approach which requires for people facing jobs. Thanks.

Unfortunately I was disappointed yet again with the service received at the pharmacy. I had requested a repeat prescription via NHS App two weeks ago, I could see that it had been approved by my doctor on the same day but still hadn?t received the text from Boots to say it was ready for collection. My medication had run out so I went in to collect. Waited 20 minutes to be told that it was there but hadn?t been checked so I should come back tomorrow. I explained that my medication had run out so I really needed to collect now and so could they check it now? He advised it would be 20 minutes. I went off for half an hour then returned to be told it still hadn?t been checked. 10 minutes later I had my medication.
There are loads of staff on the pharmacy (6 today) but don?t know what they are all doing.
Come on Boots! You need to be getting better not worse!
In the past I have been to the doctors and they have prescribed medication and, by the time I walked to the pharmacy, my medication was ready for collection. Now I order two weeks in advance and it?s still not ready. Shame on you!
