A very enjoyable experience. Nice and polite staff. Drinks were a bit too steep but the daughters student discount code made it more comfortable. The food was as it should be no complaints here
Parking: Chelmsford underground parking for the time we ate and relaxed it cost about a fiver

Had breakfast a couple of times while staying in the area. The food was great and so was the coffee. I had avocado on sourdough and added scrambled eggs, it was delicious. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Had breakfast here three times this week while visiting Essex. Our Servers, Veronica once, and Katy twice, were AMAZING! Fantastic service, food and environment!

Honestly fed up of trying to give this place benefit of the doubt. Food is always stone-cold and yet served on top of plates hot enough to give you third degree burns- I reckon microwave technicians are at work. They managed to cook my eggs with a hard yolk and yet runny whites, I didn?t even know that was possible. £18 for that and a coffee, naaa you?re alright.
Normally the service slightly redeems this restaurant, but this morning was so lack-lustre. The server genuinely didn?t smile once, and came across like she literally couldn?t be a*sed.
I quite like a Bill?s, the one in Braintree would score higher in all areas, but this one sucks.

Came here for a bite to eat before going out, staff were very polite and service was good.
Small note alcoholic drinks were served like normal three of us ordered cokes as we were driving and we were literally given a can of coke for about 2 quid each it should of really been poured out at the bar and given hut we had to do this???
4 of us ordered pancakes and buttermilk chicken with bacon however 2 of ours turned up with sweet chilli sauce over the chicken and 2 didn't however the complaint was made by us that had the sweet chilli sauce as that doesn't go very well with pancakes and syrup??? So we were very disappointed and were left scraping it off.
Overall it was OK there but I wouldn't be going back again

Very nice location, squid was delicious but service leaves a lot to be desired. There was only couple tables with people and service was very slow/ unorganised. Paying bill was taking ages.. at the end we got up and went to pay at leave.
Parking: Parking as well accessible near by.

It could be better if the management took a step back and looked at the quality of food, when dishes are served eg after a wait our appetizers arrived followed shortly by starters before we had finished. A no no in my book. A little check on the service to improve it a bit, subtle touches its not bad just could be better

Good food, reasonable pricing vs portion and quality, but can do with some improvement. Good service (though there is a service charge applied) so i would expect the standard to be very attentive at the very least. Though on our visit the service was slow. All in all recommended.
Parking: Nearby parking lots which are pay service
Kid-friendliness: Did not see any high chairs. Small cutlery was provided.

We went for breakfast on Tuesday and sat outside. The food was lovely, as always, and the service was great, nothing was too much trouble. We were primarily served by Sophie who was friendly and made us extremely welcome, happy to help with questions and recommendations, thank you?
