I know my food and Asian Food tried pawning some weak flavoured curry off on me and calling it Vindaloo. After i called Asian Food to complain about my order and to let him know this was not Vindaloo and how i have been to India just to eat and understand their food. I lnew i was on a lossing battle when the boy tried telling me Vindaloo is not from India but a white mans dish that was created. I coold of put him in his place and told him the story of Vindaloo and where in india it cane from. But the second mistake was when he said they do not bath the meat in viniger this is one of the flavors that makes a vindaloo along with the heat. The final point vindaloo should not be swimming in a sacue but more dry. I understand you are cooking for the British (your words) but go to other Indian restaurants around you and taste their vindaloo. They did offer to send me another vindaloo out but i was told it was going to be the same. ??? I am sure they can do better or maybe they are buying pre-made sauce?s in and thats my belief. Jonathan

Possibly one of the most unflavoursome Indians I've ever had. Delivery was shocking as well. Sorry but won't be using this place again.

I have ordered couple of times; when the food arrived our expectations continued to be exceeded.The dishes are flavourful, and chewy. The marination and seasonings worked together beautifully. By the end of the meal we were planning our next order.

Asian Garden has been my takeaway of choice for a while now, food is always great and they are always accommodating for specific requests to personalise your dish as well as serving all the traditional dishes to a good quality. The staff are friendly, welcoming and hard working. Already looking forward to the next one!

Visited the boys at Asian Garden again last night and as the food was outstanding as usual I thought it only fair I give the boys a review. Been coming here a while now after trying everywhere else in Chelmsford. As I said the food is outstanding and consistent and the lads there are more than welcoming. If you haven?t been try them today. You won?t be disappointed !

Food was full of oil and sauce was watery with no taste. The dish was meant to be hot, but it was as mild as a loaf of bread. Will not be going back

Had another takeaway from here last night. The usual good food and good quantity. Only thing was I ordered Murghi Masala but it wasn't. It was chunks of chikka tikka in mince no boiled egg and it wasn't shreded tandoori chicken. Tasted ok but not what I ordered and paid for. Also they don't seem to use any fruit in their cooking like pineapple, lychees or banana. Makes all the difference to taste in a sauce.

Never ever in my life I thought that I would love Indian food,once took a gamble and asked the gentleman at the till, to make their own choise when choosing them meals as I have never heard of some names...or ingredients that those meals contain....Absolutely love it, and judging by this little place - they're busy all the time.....well managed business that provide excellent service and quality...
