I came in for lunch with my colleague today and we had a great time! The staff were really nice and friendly and made us feel so welcome, the food was great quality and the service was really quick. Great experience all round, thank you!

I?ve been coming into the sandmartin for over 25 years and I have to say the service is still great, the staff are friendly and funny and the drink selection is great! They also have a pool table again now which is a great addition!

Me and my family came here recently for a family meal, and even though our party was quite large, the staff were so accommodating and made us all feel really welcome! The staff couldn?t be more helpful and the food was great value for money as well, great venue!

Quality pub, run by quality geezers, proper Essex pub, been going for years, love the old sunset in the garden in the summer, food good, beer is always top, got the old pool table now which is always a touch. Good pub all round I?d say.
