I ordered an item and was told it would arrive the next day - I made the point that I needed it for a birthday present. 2 days later it hasn?t arrived and I?m now being told it could be another 7 days or not at all and that I shouldn?t have been promised delivery like that. Poor

My 76 year old mother has been to this chemist to pick up her prescription today and once again was treated appallingly. Not only being spoken to in a very rude manner and practically called her a liar for my mother then having to pull out her phone and show the text she had received from her GP to prove that her perception was there and meant to be ready. This is not the first time my mother has mentioned about how rude the member of staff has been towards her so now I will be following up with a formal complaint and will most definitely be paying a visit in person.

Visited Saturday morning to try and speak to pharmacist about my daughters ear, she had an infection from a recent ear piercing and was in a lot of pain and discomfort, the customer in front of us was also waiting to see pharmacist about an apses on her tooth and was told instantly that she should call 111 as there was nothing she could do, the way she was spoken to was very abrupt and clearly she was not interested in helping or offering any advise, when it was our turn I explained that my daughters ear was clearly infected and could she take a look to see if she may need antibiotics or could she advise any product we could purchase to clean the wound or if it was possible to buy something to help with the swelling or pain, she showed no interest and answered immediately I can?t help you at all you need to call 111?
I?m sure something could have been done but the lady was rude and clearly not interested in helping any of the people in the shop, we visited another pharmacy in hadleigh and on arrival found the other lady with the tooth ache was also in the store, the pharmacist in Hadleigh took time and care looking at both my daughters and the other ladies issues and prescribed antibiotics for both of us and offered advice on how to keep an eye on both issues, what a difference made by someone just applying some kind of care and attention, the service in boots furtherwick road was terrible and the lady in the pharmacy was clearly more interested in chatting with her colleagues and seemed that we were an inconvenience by asking for some kind of help or advice.
My suggestion is if you need any medical advice or are looking to purchase anything to help with any kind of ailments then do not bother visiting boots in furtherwick road as they clearly have no empathy or time to help any customers

Sorry only 2 stars from me I went there and was told it be (prescription) about 20mins ok I?ll wait so 30mins come I asked how much longer to be told oh sorry don?t know what happened but our pharmacist has gone to lunch- yes I get it deserves a break but why tell me 20mins wait and nothing so of course had to go back but wasn?t until the next day.
Lack of communication yes was polite but the staff needs to communicate with one another instead of customers having to miss a day of medication and returning back.

AVOID !!!I would give no stars if possible.I have just been there to collect a prescription, no trouble at all until I got home and realised it was the wrong thing. I?ve phoned my doctors to make sure it had got sent to this poor excuse of a pharmacy and it had yesterday at 5:25. I then phoned them again as it was 10 minutes until closing and I needed this medication today, I got told (in a very defensive manner) that because I didn?t verbally list everything in my prescription infront of the entire chemist (despite telling her my name and when it got sent) that they weren?t going to give it to me, instead they gave me something random that I don?t need. So I have then raced back and got there at their closing times, got called ?disrespectful? and told that I was no longer allowed to go to this pharmacy, all because I asked for my prescription ??? I mean am I missing something here ? Absolutely shocking service, appalling manners from the uptight, egotistical lady who served me.

AVOID if at all possible service is NON existent que up to half an hour the norm. Manager NOT interested with service and stands chatting to friends while big que forms

Never go in unless I am desperate. Fed up being ignored when waiting for prescription. That is why I don't go in.
