Really cool little cinema, cosy and perfect for the family to enjoy. Bonus that it isn't expensive too.

Lovely old school cinema with a vintage feel and great value for money. Was very impressed with the quality inside, don't worry what the outside looks like it is better inside. With a choice of cinema seats or sofas it caters to a wide range of people. Went during the school holidays and it was almost empty. The only issue we had was finding somewhere to park. Other than that I would recommend it.

This is an icon!! The only local independent cinema left around us. We need to use it more often. I am guilty of this as well. I do forget that it is on my doorstep.

Superb traditional cinema. Very reasonably priced films and concessions. Comfortable sofas and seating. Nothing not to like....support your local cinema and ditch soul less expensive multiplexes.

Great small cinema. It was so cheap compared to most other cinemas. Will definitely go again.

Wonderful old cinema where you can enjoy a great selection of films for all ages. Sensibly priced tickets too! Friendly helpful staff. Would rather support the Rio than other bigger establishments! Excellent experience. Thank you.

Historic old cinema which shows the latest releases for £5. As right in the centre of Burnham you have a good choice of cafés, pubs, fish and chips, restaurants and ice creams to enjoy before or afterwards and you can stretch your legs with a walk past beautiful old buildings overlooking the River Crouch with its boats and beautiful views. Cinema interior a bit shabby but seats comfortable enough for a 3 hour film, staff and audience friendly, refreshments limited

Had a fantastic time at this wonderful cinema built in 1931. Absolutely going to be using this time and time again.

We watched Elemental here with my daughter and niece. For the price it's great, feels a bit like sitting in someone's lounge, but we enjoyed it.

Can't go wrong here with value for money. Brilliant independently run cinema.

Quaint little cinema with lots of history. Great snack selection, and the seats are comfy enough. Make sure to have cash with you, as it is cash only.

Oh Wow! A private cinema since 1910, small, very personal & quirky. Has 2 screens, which show all the latest films. The box office offers tickets, drinks & snacks at very reasonable prices too! Well worth a visit!
