We came for a family lunch had to wait ages for the waitress to arrive in the end we asked another member of staff for drinks and was told to go to the bar to order them.
The meat was nice but the Yorkshire pudding were not fresh wonder if there from yesterday.
The potato?s were bland and flavourless.
Then had to wait ages for the waitress again to get the bill, won?t be going back to this branch in a hurry much prefer holly bush hill one where food is always fresh and staff more attentive and friendly.

Karen was brilliant and attentive. She helped my wife Jill to the table with the carvery. Always a pleasure coming to the Bald Faced Stag and you can't beat the roast.

Just been to the carvery in Buckhurst hill. It was one of the most disappointment meals I've ever had. Loaded roast potatoes so over cooked you could cut them. Prawn salad made with tiny watery prawns with absolutely no taste whatsoever.

Karen our server was brilliant! Helped assist my father to a table quickly as he finds it difficult to walk. Karen was attentive and friendly and all the team are really polite whenever we have been there. We will be back again soon.
