Course was in terrible conditionGreens were absolutely awful patches of grass everywhere , about 3 were cut none had been rolled in god knows how longThey posted on social media fairways had been cut but in reality we counted 3Every other fairway was like playing out of roughI understand weather hasnt been great but its the same for everywhere you play but that was worst course ive played in 3 yearsThey should make it clear when booking just how bad it isAnd social media account so deceivingAnyway they never called me after there response ? another load of rubbish from social media of the course

Book a tee time for Sunday, welcoming reception by the staff. I found the course to be in poor condition with fairways not being cut, bunkers overgrown and the green conditions were terible. In my mind the course should be shut as it was far too wet. Paid £36 a round which I thought was a bit too much.

I'm giving it a 3 star, because it was open even after all the rain we had over the last few weeks, which meant we could get out and play.I'm also giving it a 3 star because it was open even after all the rain we had over the last few weeks, and it really really shouldn't have been open.To charge £40 odd quid to go round a course practically underwater is criminal.Might be an OK course in the summer.

Beautiful course, but the greens were terrible.Fully understand its winter but had to pitch over bad repairs and bare patches from 2" off the green.It's a shame as it looks like a great course.

My wife had her 50th Party here recently and we cannot praise the staff highly enough. The bar staff and catering team on the evening were brilliant and a lot of our guests had high praise indeed. Venue itself was a great place for a party or function like this too. Everyone there worked really hard to make sure it was a special evening. Highly recommend.

Looked after our society very well.Although very wet, fairways were decent & few greens were like playing on the moon but considering weather it was decent. Only gripe is coffee was a bit grim on arrival.

Fantastic course in great condition for winter weather. As always friendly staff from the reception we received at breakfast to the helpful and considerate Pro.Members we met on the course were also really helpful and friendly.Looking forward to next time.

Attended a very nice works Christmas party here early in December. Disco, gaming tabkes, finger buffet food, anda wide selection of beers and spirits available at the bar. Very enjoyable.

What a stunning venue!There was some initial confusion over our booking as the previous venue owners (prior to get golfing taking over) hadn?t handed over our booking information and any vendors they had already authorised so we needed to change some plans around. But this didn?t stop our wedding co-ordinator Jessica from pulling out all the stops to make our wedding day the most magical day of our lives.We have had so many comments from our guests on how gorgeous this venue is, and how much they loved the food, music and amazing service from the team.The weather had us worried for a bit but Mel & Jessica did a great job in calming a stressed and distraught Bride! They got the Lakes Suite ready for a ceremony just incase the rain didn?t stop, but 45 minutes before our ceremony was due to start the sun started shining! The team did everything within their power to make sure we had our dream outdoor wedding at the stunning pier.The DJ was fantastic and brought together our favourite songs from so many different genres. He gave the kids (and adults!) medals for their dancing skills and everyone had the best time! We ended our wedding celebrations with a very uncoordinated version of oops up side your head which was so perfect!Thank you so much for a magical day at the most beautiful venue.Stacy & Terry8th July 2023

Great course, really enjoyed the layout and the water made some holes that bit more challenging. Staff were informative and friendly. One thing to highlight was that you have to hit the 9th tee shot over the par 3 8th green which can be inconvenient for pace of play.

Not the most pleasant experience. We were a two ball and not really playing slowly our round took less than 4 hours and we were not using a buggy. The condition of the course was pretty bad, some of the fairways were extremely muddy and the greens were not in a good condition. Yes we have had a considerable amount of rain and even allowing for that it was bad. What we didn?t appreciate was being chased by singles and two balls in buggies. We do let three of them through because we found it intimidating having golf balls landing a few yards behind us because they were impatient. It was pretty obvious the buggies was one of the reasons the course was in such a mess, coupled with the way they were being driven. First time I have played here and maybe the last.

Unfortunately, it was a very wet day, but the course held up well.The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Like the layout and looking forward to playing it in the dry.

Too busy, tee times not spread evenly so was backed up every hole with other players waiting to tee off. Took 2hours 45mins to get around 9 holes. Came off the 9th as wouldn?t have completed the course within sunlight hours. Waste of time and money.
