I took my young son to Vision Express because he said his eye was hurting, Louise was marvelous really friendly and helpful got us seen in 30 minutes. The optician was also very friendly and professional and put my five year old at ease. Wonderful service highly recommended. My son was fine thankfully.

Every aspect of my visit to Vision Express Brentwood was perfect until i asked for polarized sunglasses, the assistant consulted with the manager via phone and was told that they don't do polarized sunglasses this was very disappointing as i have had polarized sunglasses from them previously. The reason for the 1* is to bring it to the attention of their management. They lost the sale for three sets of glasses about £750 + walked out of the door!

Usually get a comprehensive eye test but was a bit upset to have to pay £6 towards a test that looks at the inner eye especially when I have a family problem with glaucoma. When I checked if I needed that test to be able to see if I had the beginnings of glaucoma I was told ?yes.? One way or other the basic things are costing in the NHS these days! The guy who did the eye test was nice but spoke way too fast for older people with hearing difficulties to follow! I kept having to ask him to repeat himself and didn?t hear half of what he said. I never but frames from Vision Express. Personally I have never had any that last longer than 6 months. I was told that they could use the frames that I had and just supply the lenses but when it came to it they didn?t have the correct lenses - seems they can?t do bifocal, thinned-lens transition lenses so I couldn?t even get them. I have sourced from elsewhere but it?s disappointing that in one of the largest chains of opticians in the country they cannot get everything. I will continue to use them but it is disappointing nevertheless.

Time lapse for renewing passwords it too short, one unable to write new password down in time allocated, very frustrating.
