Three of us booked for lunch. Good location with plenty of parking spaces. Excellent staff, provided friendly and curtious service. Quality of the food was excellent. We enjoyed our visit so much, we have booked our annual club lunch event here!! ?

Celebrated my mums 50th birthday and had a lovely evening. There were 14 of us and service was amazing. Food was very tasty and large portions. Good value for money. Would definitely come back.

We were cold, hungry and tired. We'd left Finland in the afternoon and the food offered by the airline was rubbish (we'd tried it on the outward journey). Having had a previous poor experience at a large food outlet on the way back from Gatwick, my wife suggested The Halfway House. Neither of us had been before. It was a very smart place as a venue and the pub side of it, held up very well. We actually ordered far too much. We shouldn't have had the soup to start as we couldn't finish our main courses. That was no reflection upon the cooking.It was quiet with attentive staff.

Brilliant restaurant, loved the food. Homemade lasagna was ummmmm . Carefully cooked with beef and the slice of cheese was melted to the bone.
