Normally avoid places like Starbucks, Costa etc as I feel it?s too American for Britain. But gave in today as I decided to pop in for a sit down breakfast roll at about 7.30am.
What a disappointment - EVERY table and chair was filthy! Nothing had been cleaned from the previous day. No matter which table I picked, they all had sticky film of coffee marks on them and the chairs and floor had crumbs all over. Surely, at the end of the day (and I know they close late) members of staff could wipe down the tables clean or do it first thing in the morning (not a very busy time) instead of having a nice long chat with someone they know who had walked in before us! Should have gone to Gail?s, it might be pricy but at least it?s clean. Maybe a Health inspector should pay them a visit.

Boycott Cashless Businesses! Completely unacceptable that they refuse to accept the legal tender currency of this country! It is against the law to refuse to accept cash but these American corporations seem to think they are above the law.

Starbucks in Brentwood has its one redeeming quality - it's open until 7 PM, making it convenient for evening stops. However, the disappointment starts with their coffee and Frappuccinos. The quality is consistently subpar, lacking the rich flavors you'd expect. The only highlight is the wheelchair-accessible entrance, which is an essential feature. But sadly, accessibility alone can't compensate for the disappointing beverages. It's crucial for Starbucks to prioritize coffee quality to match the convenience of their hours.

Very disappointed as the cake was slightly stale did not feel freshly made. Croissant was asked if wanted heated but declined but when started to eat realised it should have been heated as not very good. Hot Chocolate was nice flavour but could have been hotter. Overall not enjoyable. Expensive for what it was.

Always over charging on my special frappachino that I get in all different Starbucks stores, including london, lakeside, bluewater- I always get charged different prices for my frappachino with hazelnut syrup and chocolate chips for a medium they charge me £6.32? That?s just extortionate.. where as other mediums in Starbucks are £5.12-£5:38! I question them at the till and last time a lady altered it for me, however this time they said unfortunatly that is the price and every store is different? Please make it make sense??? Lost a customer Starbucks!

Been coming here for 2 years now and in the last few months the standard of coffee has dramatically dropped. Todays date is 6th August 2023 at 11am and this isn?t the first time I have had a Frappuccino made by the staff here that I have had to throw away, more money wasted so unfortunately I cannot risk buying from this Starbucks anymore, please train these staff better as I have no issues with the Canary Wharf branches, the Frappuccino?s are great but unfortunately Brentwood just isn?t worth risking a bad coffee.

Coffee was ok. Cakes are not bad. Staff are not friendly and not keen. Noisy and untidy place although it is not a busy coffee shop.
