Every single member of staff were brilliant when I visited today. When I came in, one man was helping a lady try on several pairs of shoes and was very helpful. I browsed found the shoes I wanted and the same man very quickly found my size again being very polite, smiling, and happy to help. Another assistant was on the floor who not only gave me directions but took me there being very polite again and finally, the lady on the till had a very lovely chat with me about the shoes I bought and wished me well with my new job. Sports Direct are lucky to have such upbeat, polite and helpful bunch on the floor.

I came in with my two daughters today (Saturday 29th June) as I had made some purchases online. Firstly, I came in with a buggy carrying my 2 infant daughters. I saw that the lift was broken, and had to rely on a member of the public to help me up the escalator with the kids as no one was manning the escalator.
When returning my item, the young man in his 20s said I couldn?t return my item as I bought it online and therefore I can only return it online. Fair enough, in order not to make a fuss i then asked if I can exchange it with something in store, which he specifically said that I could. I spent 20 minutes collecting the items that I would like to exchange with my previously purchased item. I then queued up again, to which the young man said I can not exchange anything that has been bought in store with anything that has been bought online, of which he already knew my situation. I very calmly expressed my frustration with the miscommunication, and asked to see the manager. The manager came over, and very rudely told me that this was not possible. I only label this as rude, because there was no apology for the misinformation, and she abruptly left without any further communication. It was a shame as I formerly used to enjoy shopping here.

Visited the store for the first time and found the people in the shop not very helpful and there was a couple of people that worked there and apparently one was the manager needs to learn to smile and be nice to the customer so will not be going back in there as was not a nice place to shop.

Excellent stockists of a huge range of clothing, footwear etc.Unfortunately the staff are generally unhappy and not especially helpful.The lift is often not working.With a bit of staff training, some maintenance repairs and more thought to the layout of the store, it could be amazing!

Non existent customer service. Everytime I go in, it always seems such a chore for someone to help you. Stark difference between Brentwood and Lakeside.

the products are very high quality and suitable for every budget. you don't have to pay a lot to buy sports equipment. there are all brands . in addition, the end-of-series products are much more affordable. I advise.

The trouble with this store is the location. Nothing to see at ground level, just an up escalator and a flight of steps....but let curiosity get the better of you and WOW there is sooo much stock up on that 1st floor. Yes I know that the cynical would say '50% off' means it was overpriced in the first place but this is genuine, branded sportswear and equipment. No hesitation in recommending.
