We have recently rented a property from Jenkins Property and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The team were extremely helpful, flexible and accommodating. Barbara was especially attentive and went the extra mile to support myself and my family. The property was clean and tidy and the process was easy and seamless even when we needed an extension to stay an extra few weeks there was no hassle and a solution provided. Wish there was an option for zero stars! Just told lies from the beginning.Myself and my partner were looking to buy a property (we are first time buyers) and contacted Jenkins about a listing they had in Coleridge walk. We met Barbara at the property just before Christmas and were told if we put an offer in at £375k it would be accepted but we had to do it same day as the office was closing for Christmas (Barbara explained that the office would strictly be taking messages over Christmas so no viewings or anything would be actioned). We put our offer in same day with paperwork.Low and behold between Christmas and new year Barbara?s colleague called us and said our offer would not be accepted as it was offers over £375k and that they had held other viewings and got a higher offer now. We were extremely disappointed and was 100% lied to by Barbara.A month later a family friend called us as they also viewed the property before Christmas and had been called by Barbara explaining the other buyer had dropped out and she wanted to see if he would put in an offer. Our family friend was confused as he didn?t put in an offer originally as he thought we were buying it. Barbara then lied to him and said we didn?t submit our paperwork? extremely unprofessional. We have still not been contacted even though we put an offer forward previously but had contacted someone that hadn?t!!Makes no sense and would not recommend this estate agent based on the lies they have told to us at the beginning.

AVOID using this company. They rented me a flat that had no hotel water which it then took them 4 months to fix. I had to withhold the rent in the end to force the landlord to fix the problem and when I did the letting agents called me up immediately to threaten legal action. Any problems with the flat were not fixed and the agents didn't bother to address the issues. They charged me an additional £400 when I moved out as they claimed the flat needed a professional clean (it didn't). The guy checking the conditions when I handed over the keys assured me the flat looked fine, then wrote up a report saying it needed a professional clean. I will not deal with this company again and would not advise anyone else to do so.

My journey in finding a rental property was made incredibly smooth and stress-free thanks to Nikki. As a first-time renter, the process seemed a little daunting, but Nikki's personable approach put me at ease and made the process as simple as possible for me.She was available to discuss all of my concerns, even outside of typical working hours, which is above and beyond and I'm very thankful to her for going the extra mile to help me secure my rental.As soon as I had my first viewing and met Nikki, I found her to be very warm and friendly, and after the viewing we even stopped and chatted at length about her long career in the lettings industry, and it was clear to me that she was one of those rare lettings agents who is in the industry for all the right reasons.I wholeheartedly recommend Jenkins Property and in particular, Nikki. Thank you, Nikki, for making my first renting experience such a positive one!

This team Now are amazing, the management side headed up by Nikki are professional and efficient, we have several rented properties with them, we are paid promptly, they watch over the Gas certs for us, all problems are delt with A S.A.P to keep Tennant's happy,Thank you Guys !

Do not use their lettings management team. Not if you want to be looked after professionally.You?ll be billed for invoices that weren?t pre advice to you.I?ve had Gas Certs booked and billed to me (way over the standard gas cert price)I?ve had works billed to me with no pre advice.I?ve had works advised to me of one price and then billed with a higher invoice amount. Reason was it was an emergency and we had to act straight away. Yet you?ll find they won?t tell you this, they?ll just send you the invoice with no explanation.I?ve now been trying to resolve an issue with them for a month, it?s either staff on holiday, off sick etc etcTheir online portal isn?t up to date, you?ll see the wrong rental amounts quoted, wrong dates of last AST. No AST available to view online and when you ask for them, you?ll get sent out of date ones and still be waiting a month later for the correct AST?s you requested.What?s even worse is they know of my personal circumstances, I?ve just lost a member of my family and yet they continue to place additional stress on me.They use to be really good but unfortunately the lettings manager left and since they replaced the manager, the attitude of the staff has changed and the place is falling apart.

Highly recommend, Jenkins sold my mother's property quickly and efficiently. Everyone she spoke to liaised with her in a polite and professional way, especially Barbara who was dealing with the sale.Thank you for your help!

Avoid this business at all costs. We had two properties fall through with them, one on the day of exchange where we lost nearly £30k due to a technicality on a pre-exchange contract that we were pressured in to signing by Paul. Barbara and Georgie were great, but we were sold so many lies by Paul along the way. We had 3-months of hell in dealing with this business due to this situation and it has left us in a real mess financially. After the £30k was apparently ?lost? they threatened us with legal action if we were to contact them again, so we are currently in the process of having our lawyers review to see if we can recover the lost funds and claim damages. I?ve never written a bad review in my life but I feel like I need to warn others so that the same does not happen to anyone else. Do not buy a property with this business. Make sure you follow the advice of your solicitors and not the advice of the pushy estate agents at this business. Absolute shambles. Zero stars.

We highly recommend Jenkins Property, as they are professional, polite and courteous every time. We have been renting for Jenkins for almost 3 years and we are so happy to be with them, Emmie and Rob were always there for us for everything and anytime. Emmie has made those big things of moving in and out so easy and no stress especially now with all this COVID-19.Have no doubts about using this estate agent you will not be disappointed.

Jenkins sold our house during a time of uncertainty, when others couldn?t they stepped up to the mark. Paul has an honest approach to selling houses, as a client he asked us what sale price we needed for our next purchase and set our expectations at it?s true market value. He achieved everything he said he would.Communication was clear and relevant (no calls to say vender is brushing their teeth etc).Jenkins gave us further advice on the purchase of our new home, I would say you enter into a partnership with the company rather that a quick sale.Thank you for your help Paul and the team, and to everyone else out there use Jenkins.

Appalling.. we made an offer for a house and we had no communication back. We had then seen the property we made the offer for sold the next day. We tried to call and email but had no response as to why we were not notified. If our offer had been too low, to give us the opportunity to counter!!I would not recommend this company!
