Had a really lovely experience today, there is a really lovely new young man working here who is super bubbly and friendly. Really made a difference to our experience and working day. We normally grab food and coffee from here all the time, as we are one of the local businesses on the high street.
Vegetarian options: Not the branches problem but the franchise need more versatile veggie options

Very slow service despite being very quiet in the shop, and having 3 staff behind the counter.

Small Costa ,everything you would expect, limited free street parking, 1 or 2 hr max stay, paid car parks within 5 min walk same for rail station.

Staff take ages to make a single coffee. For a shop that has 3 people working behind its counter they are indeed the slowest and least customer friendly facing people. Food alright, but that's because it's all out of a packet.

My wife and I often drink coffee in various Costas and enjoy them. We have decaf coffee and usually coconut milk latte. We went to the Costa in Shenfield and ordered the above. It was so weak it was like drinking hot milk. My wife complained and the server very kindly put an extra shot of coffee in each cup, but not much difference. £8 wasted.
