Reading some reviews makes the shop sound like a disaster zone. I went into the shop 3 times, and this was certainly not the case. Indeed, I ended up seeking a PAC code as I was leaving Vodafone for EE, who had a contract that better suited my requirements. On each occasion, the shop was not busy, and the staff could not have been more helpful (even though I was leaving them after many years). I was impressed with their excellent customer service.

I wasn't impressed. During the order, the adviser complained that his computer kept crashing, and said the account, then the contract, took a long time to load. I was there for so long, I almost gave up. He turned his back on me to chat to people behind him. He looked at me as if I was silly when I asked a question. When I finally got the new phone, someone had slung the wrong charger into the box. What do they need in this store? Better incentives?

The manager (I think) at the Braintree store has a major attitude problem and spoke down to me on both visits. I asked him if he had a problem with me and rather than diffusing the situation decided to argue back and tell me that I ignored him on my first visit when he said hello - so clearly he did have a problem with me! He was actually busy serving when I first visited and is full of it. I've always found Vodafone an excellent company but I might have to take my money elsewhere as I can't get over how unprofessional, rude and generally difficult the staff at this store have been. I had ordered a phone to collect at the store but he refused to do the simplest of things to help me, like look for the order status online - just as his colleague had done the day before - clearly it could be done, he was just trying to be difficult and refused!

I really wasn?t impressed by the young man working in the store on Friday evening. He spoke to me like I was an idiot? laughing at me, talking down to me etc. For something he said would be impossible to solve, Vodafone customer service (who I called) solved it immediately. He continued to imply I was an idiot for ordering my new phone online and not in store as I could have got a better deal. This individual lacked manners and had very poor customer service skills. I won?t be returning to the Braintree store due to this individual.

Used to work here, they just want to rinse you of your money and take advantage. When I worked here I was actively encouraged to lie to people.

Huge thanks to Mark and the team in store this week for setting me up with my move from EE to Vodafone. He had endless patience helping me decide on my new handset without making me feel pressured and made great suggestions based on the features I'll actually use. Highly recommended.
