Stopped for a quick sandwich and a side of chips, which were chunky and hot. Friendly service, not many patrons, so wasn't much of an atmosphere.

We visited the Swan Public House & Restaurant on Sunday 01/09/24 this was our first time visiting. This pub has a friendly cosy vibe. We were shown to the restaurant area but unfortunately left for quite a while to the point we weren't sure if we had to go to the bar to order or if they waited on us at the table, we popped down to the bar and a lovely lady said she would come to us at the table which she did do straight away (they were extremely busy so maybe that's why we had to wait longer than maybe you normally would?). The lady that took our orders was extremely pleasant and polite and very helpful when we were ordering certain dishes ie: roast options and steak dishes. The food was delivered in good time & was presented well, it was absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection, you get served a very good portion of food not like some places that scrimp on portions now days. I would say excellent value for money. We all left the table very satisfied. I have given an overall scoring of 4* purely due to I feel the restaurant could do with a little sprucing up and in the garden area there were tables that hadn't been cleared even though staff were delivery food out to the tables, but unfortanley they never cleared any tables on their return to the bar, this is one of my bug bares you should not be returning empty handed if there are tables to be cleared! it also makes a lovely area look unwelcoming to those seated already and to prepective customers.This score has no reflection of the service and great food that's definitely a 5* from all of us. We will definatly be returning to The Public House & Returaurant in Ryane soon.
Kid-friendliness: there were facilities for the children to play in the beer garden.

The atmosphere of the pub is so good. The bar staff, she had a beautiful smile and a welcoming attitude. Food ordered. At most, my wife and I waited no longer than 8 minutes. The food was delivered with a professional approach. It's absolutely brilliant ?... Thank you. Gerry & Gilda.

Love this place. The atmosphere of the garden area is so nice, and the play area is always being used, and when it broke, once it got repaired instantly, the food was nice, but not 5 star

Family went there a few week ago .went up and ordered beers and wine and ask for a non alcoholic beer aswell. Drinking in the garden I said to my son how nice the drink was .he said let's have a taste and then said you know why it's nice ...it's a normal beer .. as I had already had some .it could have put me over the limit. I will never go in there again

Recently held my father's wake at the Swan and Cameron and Anya and their team were just amazing..we had the privacy of the back room with its own bar and use of the large garden as it was a lovely day. Food, drinks were very reasonably priced and the service was top notch. All the guests from far and wide commented on how beautiful the room looked and how friendly the atmosphere was. I would highly recommend it.

Having moved to the area we have made this pub our local .the friendly atmosphere is fantastic. It's everything a village pub should be.The staff have been so friendly to us and made us feel welcome and not outsiders.The food is without doubt the best I've had , from the veggie menu to the roasts to the fish and chips, sharing platters and quite honestly the whole menu.Great value for money.Thankyou to all at the SwanVegetarian options: Veggie option was varied and delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options was important for us but we were well catered forParking: Plenty of places to park. Never been an issueKid-friendliness: Plenty of kid friendly meals

Disappointed, I arrived at 1pm on a Sunday my friends ordered food while I waited outside to hold the table. My turn came and I was told by the staff that they had stopped taking food orders.The guy couldn't say if they would be taking more orders. I had to stay while my friend had their food.

Always greeted with a warm welcome and the food never dissapoints! It's lovely being able to go to a pub that caters for all, including vegetarians, as this is a common problem I find in other pubsVegetarian options: The vegetarian options are fab!
