Only one cash till self service now, will be a mess if ever there is a card outage. Some people prefer to pay with cash rather than cards.

Needed to pop into Tesco quickly between work around 1.15pm .
Only two checkouts open and long queues, because I needed to get back to work asked a Supervisor if another check out could be opened ,
I was told no one took any notice of her but she would try .
After around 5minutes another checkout opened.
Now the aisles full of staff doing shopping for on line customers , yet the customers in store forgotten about .
Your prices go up daily and not by a few pence ranges from 25p to 75p per item . Aldi is cheaper than Tesco but more than two customers in queue they automatically open another till.
Hoping one day Aldi comes to Braintree cheaper , good quality, and better customer service

The shop is well stocked but oh dear, the staff are not one bit interested in offering great customer service. Around the store they'll get in your way, and at the self service tills they chat with one another while you need assistance.

Good location in town centre. Park there, spend 5 quid and then you get three hours to visit the other town centre shops - easy / walk / wheelchair.

Store staff can't be asked to do basic job such as check a price of a reduced item with no price on but covered in yellow stickers. This is after getting told to go customer service and ask for a particular person to come and find the price. Very disappointed as normally very good service. 9.02pm 19/12/24

Never enough tills open to deliberately force use of the self service even when the queue for that is long

Car parking would not validate after just over two hours, when all the signs clearly say 3 hours. There is no way to speak to anyone or make a complaint on the website. Will have to wait for a ticket, then have to appeal, what a waste of everyone's time. Not happy.
