Very few checkouts are open whenever I go in there. Self service checkouts always seem to have a problem.

Disappointing using the car park at the Black Notley store, the road surface between the car park and the petrol station has needed repairing and lines/ markings painting for over a two years, sadly, Tesco do not seem to have an easy/simple way of emailing them, so hopefully they may read this?

Conveniently half of the pay at cashier petrol pumps haven't been open or working in forever and only one member of staff is ever actually working inside the petrol station.
The stores fairs no better. There is never any floor staff to talk to because they are all running around with click and collect trolleys. The pharmacy is constantly only staffed with one person at peak times and only two the rest of the time. Feel sorry for the staff as they are usually swamped. Prescriptions should take 3 days to process and regularly they're 5 days and are wrong because the staff is short handed.
Overall Piss poor performance from whatever plank is masqueradeing as a manager.

Nice out the way Tesco, polite staff, fresh products, and great parking, also have petrol onsite.

Lovely local tescos, but what let's it down massively is the rudest team member. Her attitude stinks and it ruins the shopping experience when she is on shift and have to be dealt by her. Her customer service stinks and is very unapproachable. She has an attitude which always leaves me and my family furiated.

Staff in this store are much more warm , welcoming and helpful than the ones at Chelmsford. I don't mind driving from Chelmsford for some miles to shop just for a better customer experience.

Julie was a bit short with me and it wasn?t busy or anything so not really any excuse, I work in customer service and sales so understand how it can be but would not really ever treat customers in that way

Competitive prices. Good quality produce always. Disabled access and parking. Helpful friendly staff. Great selection of products. Delivery and collection available. Money exchange at Great Notley and Key Cutting at Marks Farm. Toilets. Cafe.

Sums up Tesco. Went into a Tesco for the first time in months with my wife but I wanted to just do my own shopping for a few things. Picked up 3 bottles of wine because there was a 25% off 3 but then I discover the small print they have to be 'finest' so had to put them back. Then spent 10 minutes nearly buying things but reading the price lists with clubcard deductions I lost the will to live and walked out without anything. It's all meant to confuse in my opinion and needs a big dose of looking at.
