Braintree store avoid. Its like a bunch of kids for staff chasing their female staff member around like dogs on heat. I've bought more than X20 suits from Moss Bros over the last about 12 years at Braintree. I bought X2 suits in February 2022. X2 jackets and X4 trousers. I had to come back for X1 pair of trousers but no...they got lost and they would not help finding them. Never again will I use this company and looking at their 3.5 review score now, I suspect I'm not the only one.

Son went in for a new suit. Had to have it adjusted but was also given option of having bespoke suit made. Not this time but would definitely consider as not as pricy as we thought. Very helpful

Poor product quality and shocking customer service.I have been a customer for more than 8 years, almost purchased 50 % of my cloth over the time from Moss, including my wedding suit. In the past year I noticed a change in the quality of the products and customer service. Had some issues with suit and a Jumper all sorted but after me spending hours on the process. In May I visited Braintree outlet shop and spent £70 on 2 Jumpers, I both wore for less than 3 hours and holes started to appear, moth hole? possibly. I approached the store and explained the case for the manager, who had nothing to say other than blaming me for this, and also blaming me for buying items on May while I will be wearing them in December? funny. It was a useless argument with the manager who obviously had no basic understanding of the customer service and the way you have to speak to an angry customer. It was very obvious that there may be small holes when I purchased which I could not spot by my poor eyes and when I wore them they started getting bigger.I had been a loyal customer for 8 years but after this shocking and useless experience with the Braintree store I won?t be going back there!, nor to any other Moss stores.My advice to anyone to never buy anything from there, just damaged items are sold and will sooner or later have an issue which will never be solved so you will regret it at the end.

Often use Moss for dinner suit hire. Very friendly and helpful especially Chelmsford and Colchester. Got a nice black tuxedo so very happy.

Just picked up my made to measure suit from Moss Bros Braintree.The suit is really fantastic and just want to say that Jamie, the manager was superb.We?ve been 3 times now.. once for the initial sale and measurements, next to try.. slight adjustments to be made? and picked up today.Jamie as always was welcoming.. always remembered us and just a credit to the store.Thank you to him!Robert Pope

Shocking Service and Refund process! Product quality is unacceptable!I spent £80 on 2 shirts, I both wore for less than 3 hours and both left me with rashes and irritated skin! I approached the store with just the receipt and was told that with this problem I can exchange the shirts for 2 cotton ones!I came back later that day with the shirts to be told that because I don?t have the packaging (none provided bar the cardboard cut out) I wasn?t allowed to return or exchange! I even offered to leave the cardboard cut outs of the 2 new shirts I would buy and was still refused!I had been a loyal customer for 6 years but after this shocking and useless experience with the Braintree store I won?t be going back there!

This isn't the Savoy Taylor Guild of old. Lack of sizes, the advice is pretty shocking when it comes to sizing and alternative suggestions. But I ended up getting what I needed, even if it wasn't what I wanted.

Recently visited again with my husband for a fitting and what can I say. Alex was absolutely brilliant and an asset to the store. He was chatty, attentive, very professional and made us feel as though we had known him for years through being so friendly and making us feel welcome. Hubby even went back for a custom suit after Alex's advice. Would give 5 stars, but a different staff member served us (seemed to be a manager?) and just wasn't the same and we weren't greeted or approached for the first 10 minutes we were in the store. Perhaps they should all take a leaf out of Alex's book! Worth a visit if in need of a suit, great variety and know what they're talking about

My first time in this branch of Moss Bros and it was a good experience. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who helped greatly and overcame the problem of not having the right size trousers in stock to form part of the suit I ended up buying. The trousers arrived by courier the next day. All in all good customer service

Fantastic service received in Moss Bros, Braintree. Dean was brilliant and understood exactly what we needed. The whole experience was relaxed & calming, which with two little ones is rare. Recommend this place for suits and service.
