I gave them a favourable review in feedback online, but I hadn't opened my sandwich. Unexpectedly, it was the nastiest salmon & cream cheese sandwich ever, with dry bread and suspiciously strong fish. If only I lived nearer the store, it would have been taken back.

As with other M&S Foodhalls offers top quality food. Has a good range of products. Staff are friendly and helpful. The layout of the store is functional, easy to follow and a reasonable size. There is also a small cafe within the food halls.

We shop here every week and spend a lot of money we went today and my husband needed the toilet a kind man that works there let him in it was only a few minutes before opening but when he came out the toilet the manager was rude and saying he shouldn?t be in there the store wasn?t open she carried on being abusive and escorted him out the store like a villain with a side kick from the cantine we shall not be shopping there again or any marks and Spencer?s disgusting behaviour from a so called mansger

M&S cafe in Braintree is always under staffed and busting at the seams! But no matter what day you go in, there is a lovely young man named Luke who never stops! He?s always kind and generous. This young man should definitely get a Christmas bonus for all his tireless work. Thank you for being one of the nicest members of staff.

I went to pick up an online order today and the new check in system would not work, I found an assistant called Mandy who got it to work for me I then stood and waited for someone to bring it to me and on one showed, I am disabled and find it difficult to stand for too long, Mandy saw me and although busy working on the shop floor she went and got me my parcel with lots of apologises. I want to thank her because she went above and beyond,

Went there today arrived at 2pm was told no hot food until 2.30, went back at 3pm and there was a barrier across the entrance I told the lady we was told to come back at 2.30, she said there was no one available to do hot drinks I said that?s ok we will have cold drinks ordered our food a coke and iced latte, when we got to the seating area it was awful all the vacant tables had dirty trays with cups plates and cutlery food and drink on the floor, I went to find a manager who came and cleared the tables but they were not wiped down, and floors ignored, then the lady who took our ordered arrived with a hot latte, which I couldn?t understand as I was told no hot drinks, I explained I ordered a iced latte and when that arrived it was awful, 2 sandwiches a coke and iced latte £17 absolutely disgusting, really disappointed, the cafe at the Stanway Branch is really good
