“I used to work next to a B&Q store and was probably in there 3 or 4 times a week. I like the B&Q format and range, it fits nicely between Wickes (builder's merchant) and Homebase, which tends to stock mostly homeware. I find it has virtually everything a home-DIYer could ever need. The Braintree branch is 'medium-size', great for anyone who regularly gets lost in their giant stores, and doesn't relish a 30 minute walk to find a single item, but still stocks most things you could ever want.As well as range, another thing I like about B&Q is it's hiring policy, it tends to have a lot of 'older' staff who used to work in the trades, and are great for asking questions or getting a bit of advice. They don't have timber cutting at the Braintree store. This was one of my favorite services to get done, and only 50p a cut. I think the nearest store that does this is Colchester.”

“Visiting Office Loro in person or by phone is always a pleasing experience because of the genuinely polite and kindly response to requesting help or in placing an order. Rashmi is a master of his trade and is never content until he has either helped by recommending, by researching further for a product, or by delivering for trial etc. etc. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Office Loro Marion J Richardson”
“We visited the store today at Braintree, the costumer service experience was great, thanks to Kayleigh who went above and beyond to help us out with the purchase of our bed and mattress, we even got to buy a pair of pillows (they were so confortable and the quality seems to be great that we couldn’t resist ?).”
