Bought a car here today from Ben and can confirm all the positive reviews are trueThe forecourt is a bit tucked away at the back of a hand car wash and parking was a bit chaotic, but once we?d found the dealership Ben was really warm and handed us the keys to the car for us to go and have a poke around and an unaccompanied test drive which we really appreciated! The car was as described and was freshly valeted and washed - when we came back to buy Ben made the whole process scarily easy to spend thousands, but explained everything and also flagged up to us how to activate our warranty as it wasn?t automatically done, which felt like he had our best interests in mind. Really honest, laid back and polite dealership which we?d be very happy to come back to and recommend

Purchased a 10 year old car last year October for £6000 within 2 months I had an £1800 problem, within 6 months I had a £3600 problem relating to headlights, I have other cars well over 10 years old that never give me any problems.When trying to get the dealer to uphold their own 3 month warrantee, they as good as laughed in my face.Not a very honest bunch.Typical everyday deploy and Rodney.

Very poor service found a car I liked, put a deposit down and was looking forward completing the deal only to get a phone call late in the morning ( I put my deposit Down 1800 the evening before) to told some one else had put one down before me. Can?t see how as there system showed deposit payed straight after I done it. Not happy won?t be going back. I now have to wait for my deposit no stars from me if I could,didn?t even ask if there was another car that they could help me with shocking service

My daughter bought a car from here. There was a minor issue, which they were more than happy to sort out. When I took it back for the repairs to be done, I mentioned that within a couple of weeks of her driving her (much loved) new car, someone had driven into the back of her and driven off without giving their details. It was only a minor bump but had left some scratches - which she was pretty upset about. Without hesitation Keiran said that he would ask the garage to have a look and see if they could get the worst of it off. When I returned to collect the car they had made the scratches barely noticeable and had got the car cleaned for her! All without charge - so lovely to find a local business with such amazing ethics and general kindness! Would definitely recommend and would happily go to them when I am looking for a new car!

Car dealers normally get a bad rap, but Essex Car Store was very good. They told us what issues we could expect with a car of a specific make/model, and they informed us what they would do to fix the issues. We placed a deposit, but had to pull out of the purchase later and Essex Car Store very kindly returned our deposit even though they were legally not required to. Very honest team and great to deal with. I would not hesitate to transact with them.
