We think Carpets 4 Less in Colchester must 'grow their own' supermen!A month ago we had a great experience buying carpet from them - nothing could beat that team we thoughtBut then we went to buy some vinyl and met Brian in the shop.Brian was great and sorted us out with a great product from a good selection. He even moved all the catalogues around to a single place so we could view them more easily.Thank you Brian!We got a call from the shop the day before fitting to confirm the date and time - Thank you for that.Maybe we were lucky again? Or more likely the people working for and from Carpets 4 Less are just the nicest and best.Bailey directed operations, listening to our input and managing the work admirably.Mind you his young apprentice, Peter, was also excellent so full marks to the Team of Two on Thursday!Would we recommend Carpets 4 Less? - DefinitelyWould we buy there again? AbsolutelyAre both the products and the personnel first class? Yes and with a cherry on top!Thank you Carpets 4 Less or Colchester

Damaged cabinet and lamp as I watched him and then denied it. Management in shop won't listen to you (its there way and thats it). Damaged light £120 and cabinet £80 to get it fixed . Stay away

Really helpfull staff trying to help me find something to edge my laminate. The fitter was very specific and I know know you can only get what he wants online but the guys are carpets4less tried really hard to help me find what I needed. Cheers guys

Claire, Rowan and the team were brilliant from start to finish. Claire was super helpful with helping me find the right carpet for my bedroom, nothing was ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend the team at Braintree. Thank you so much everyone!

Waited 5 months, then guy arrived, we ordered flooring trim and door bars , still waiting on door bars over 17 months later and trim are all up and it?s gutting how it looks

Absolutely poor customer service from the manager. We independently measured our rooms and then ordered our carpets. Waited 3 weeks for the carpets to come in and then be fitted. When the fitter come to lay the carpets it was clear the manager had made a mistake when ordering from the manufacture. The fitter called carpets for less to explain to them there mistake, they tried to say we got our measurements wrong but it was not our fault he fighted our corner saying the measurements on the paper work was the correct measurements and that infact the carpet didn?t match our measurements. Finally they accepted there was a mistake and said they would get it sorted. The fitter layed one of the bedrooms which was fine and then done the under lay in the second room. We have waited an extra 4 weeks for our second carpet to be done. We got a call to say they will be coming week commencing 3rd October to lay the second room. However we have lost a days money at work due to there error, asked for some sort of compensation because of the inconvenience to us, unable to move into our property when we had planned ect. However was told ?we can?t do anything because we can?t claim anything from the manufacture? dispite this not even being the manufactures fault. And ?because there has been under lay laid you can move in? l. Well for your information We cannot move in We have a 7 month old baby who still room shares in what is our bedroom with just underlay and carpet grippers and they think this is safe and okay to move into!!I?m absolutely shocked at there customer service, carpet for less will not take the fault and still blaming the manufacturers and we are at a huge lost thanks to them ordering incorrectly from the manufactures.We spent a decent amount of money with them to then receive a shocking service with no remorse for there mistake therefore I do not recommend using this company for your carpets.The fitter come who was absolutely fantastic and I cannot fault him in any way but I do not recommend getting carpets from this company there awful to deal with when they make errors!!Photos attached of the underlay and carpet grippers which they deemed fine to move in.

I would not recommend this company. I had vinyl laid in my bathroom and was not fitted very well. Within two weeks the new flooring started to become discoloured and looked dreadful. I have since learnt that vinyl should not be laid on top of other vinyl, which is what was done by Carpet 4 less. They returned to seal the edges and walked mud and grass all in by hallway and bathroom. No respect at all! Have now gone to a company recommended to me and they are going to start again and pull all the old flooring up, as should have been done in the first place. Very disappointed.

Been into store today & spoke to Claire. What a lovely lady! So helpful as were all the staff & have since placed the order.Looking forward to our new carpets & can?t recommend them enough!

I called into the shop today and spoke to Claire, she was brilliant, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, She introduced me to the carpet fitter (sorry didn?t get his name) he also went out of his way to help me to find what I was looking for. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending both Claire and the fitter I spoke to, lovely people and great customer service, thank you both very much for all your help today.

Had our carpet laid on Monday 2nd August.They managed to mark our skirting board, didn?t clean up after themselves, nor did they take our old carpet which was agreed, when they left we thought they took the carpet only to find it outside still, when called to inform them they wanted another £40 to come and take it. Poor attitude, poor service!

Guy in shop was okay. I had to postpone the fitter a couple of times due to my father being rushed into hospital. With the lockdown easing I attempted to arrange a new date only to be told that the fitter wanted to increase his fee by 25% because of 'the mucking about' so I collected the vinyl and have booked someone private for 1/3 of the original price

Although the 'service' was ok, when it comes to returns it is NOT. I ordered some flooring from them, they calculated the amount required as 6 boxes but after fitting there was one and a half boxes left over. I expected to keep the half, but they told me that I could not return the unopened box (at a cost of £80) as it was a "special order". What is a "special order"? - absolutely anything that is not actually in the store when the customer want to buy it. BEWARE!!
