Absolutely awful food if you can call it food!! Chips were under cooked, chicken Kebab was watery bland deffo frozen and undercooked. Steak was as tough as an old shoe and swimming in juice with zero flavour. The sausage egg baguette, the egg was like rubber the sausage was the worst I've ever had and overcooked and the butter tasted rancid it had definitely been left out and gone really bad. Would never order from here again and I would strongly recommend anyone to steer clear.

This is the worst food I've ever ordered. The food is stale and under/over cooked. How this place is serving food i don't know. What a waste of money and it couldn't be more disappointing.

Fairly big portion sizes, I loved my poached eggs on toast with avocado but it was too much to eat.

It is small and obviously local. Good service and the servers are lovely and have very interesting accents. You get more food than you pay for really so good bang for buck.

This is our go to cafe, friendly service and staff and good food and we visit here regularly. Would recommend if you would like nice food with no frills. They do a good mixed grill and fried breakfast and steak and kidney pudding. Love the Spanish omelette too. Fab coffee ?

Ordered at 2pm on just eat. £20 for a jacket potato with cheese and beans and 2 cheese rolls. Hour after hour went by and it didn't arrive, no status update nothing. I eventually cancelled the order.

They melt the cheese in a cheese salad roll. Sausages are awful. Cooked once then deep fried to reheat. Awful food.

We recently visited Braintree Café and had an amazing experience! ?? The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and the coffee was just perfect?a great way to start the day. Next time, we?re definitely coming back to try their English breakfast! ??
Highly recommend Braintree Café for anyone looking for great food and a cozy atmosphere. Can?t wait to return! ?
