“The lady who worked in the shop yesterday (Black Friday) was so unbelievably helpful and kind. She explained the deals going on, she saw my hands were full of presents and rushed off to get me a basket. She even noticed my hood was loose on my coat and popped it back on for me. Honestly, staff like this should be praised as she took the stress out of shopping. I wish she could have come and helped me in other shops with the rest of my shopping! Got some really good deals and was a very pleasant experience.”

“I worked at WHSmiths about 2 years ago now, as a cashier. Due to Asperger's, introversion & dyscalclia I sometimes found the customer service, cash handling & multitasking difficult. The manager at the time I feel was extremely unprofessional, angry & rude. He criticized alot & angrily asked how I could be college educated when I couldn't even do "simple maths at your age". I understand this guy possibly was under alot of pressure & maybe abit understaffed perhaps, however the manner he spoke & treated me was not on & really made me feel very angry & upset. Thankfully there appears to be a new manager here now, I hope he is less hostile. I don't hold any hard feelings towards the old manager & hope he has calmed down since, & has found alternative ways of dealing professionally with his colleagues, whenever he is now.”
