“An excellent supermarket conveniently located on the edge of Bishops Stortford (which also has a much larger branch in the very centre). It is are supermarket of choice. There is plenty of free parking. At little cost, 'Click and collect' as well as home delivery are available and very convenient.Service is generally reasonably quick but, as with all supermarkets, there are occasions when there are queues.Customers have various shopping options - traditional checkout - self-checkout - digital scanning - etc.Spacious aisles and well-stocked shelves make it easy to find items. The fresh fruit and vegetables are particularly good but 'best before' dates can be a little short. The bakery is always worth checking for specials such as Walnut cob - a Saturday lunch for me with a special cheese, olives, tomatoes, etc.Prices are competitive and many items are 'price-matched' against local competitors. The only complaint I have is that all Sainsbury's store share a central customer contact number which involves a long wait in a queue only to be told to use twitter (now X).Often we just need to know if a frequently out of stock item is available. Customer service in store is faultless but step outside and it becomes almost none existent.A recent example. I was missing a credit card after visiting the store. My only choice was to drive 12 miles to find it was not there. In fact, it was at the bottom of one of the shopping bags!!The delivery drivers do have the store telephone number but are not allowed to share it!In this day and age, with so many supermarkets to choose from, Sainsbury's need to be more customer focused.”

“Karen helped me with a bra fitting service. She was fantastic, so professional, personable and kind. I left feeling really confident and purchased two bras before leaving. Thank you Karen for your brilliant customer service. :)”

“Not so much of a review as a thank you to the staff. My daughter’s friend took a nasty fall outside of Sainsburys today (faultless accident) and the staff were absolutely incredible with getting first aid and supporting her. They really went above and beyond and should be recognised for this.”

“I like this little tescos staff lovely apart from on chap who's rude and picks his nose in front of customers and does something not pleasant with it. If I go in I tend to get served by others . It's very convenient for things you run out of . Also the staff complain that they don't have time to wash out fridges .”
