Having been healthy for the last 54 years, I have had multiple issues in the last six months including stomach ulcers, multiple stress fractures in my foot, trigeminal neuralgia (you really don't want that one!), plus several other bits and bobs. The doctor I have been seeing is absolutely superb - I couldn't praise her highly enough for the care she has shown me. My issues have been looked at holistically which has made a huge difference to the treatment I have received. I know that the NHS gets knocked a lot, but this doctor gets ten out of five from me!

Wonderful efficient treatment from the surgery today. Within 2 hours of my initial call a doctor had phoned me. Diagnosed me and sent a prescription to my chemist. It was picked up for me. All in all it took 3 hours from first call to me taking my first tablet. Now that?s good service.

I popped in this morning 9:45 for 4 stitches removal a 9:50 appointment. I wasn't sure which building I needed receptionist guessed I was in the correct one and suggested logging in bingo confirmed,it told me the nurse's surname too. I'm guessing that I went in within 5mins of arrival I didn't look at the time was quick n efficient.The polite nurse welcomed me in and asked me to confirm why I was there, she asked if I'd prefer to sit or lay down for the stitches removal. The process was very quick and I didn't feel a thing, she accessed the area and advised that I didn't need a new dressing and could shower ok just don't rub it. I think probably under 10mins including a chat ? great people.

They can never get the quantity of my wife?s prescriptions right. Someone can?t calculate the daily dosage by days/month. She?s always short of one medication or another.

I reported a lump and Sharp shooting pains my chest over ten months ago.. and still to this date iv not had a scan. Blood test. Sugars .. or even a basic blood pressure taken .. I think I will just go and die without the embarrassment of feeling like I'm a waste of there time ..Sad experience and someone need to look in to the running of the practice

I had a referral for the dermatology department and can't speak highly enough of the experience. My doctor was friendly and attentive and listened carefully to my story. He easily diagnosed my condition that my regular doctor had gotten wrong for two years. I'm very relieved!

A huge thank you to the helpful receptionist with a bucket load of compassion tonight and the great Dr Cockcroft for his brilliant needlework at the end of a busy Monday who both saved a long wait in A and E for my husband when I cut his finger badly with a new pair of secateurs ! Our family has always been with this surgery and it has never let us down , we should treasure and support them .

Once you get in service is OK but phone appointment system is horrendous. Its a lottery if by the time you get through after waiting 22 mins, 1st thing in the morning , there are any appointments left so you take your chance again the next day.A recorder message whilst on hold saying we are experiencing high demand (every day of the week, every week) means they dont have enough capacity, not its an unexpected ocurence. Sort it out !!!

All I can say I've had great service this week from the Health Centre. I've had to see them 3 times this week, all appointments short notice as I have a chronic ailment & there was no problem in getting me in with a Dr each time.I know this isn't always the case for people but I have to speak as I find as sometimes it's always easy to dwell on the negatives.The only thing is the telephone situation on one occasion I did have to hang on over an hour before it was answered so hopefully that can be looked into.

Tried ringing this morning to get an appointment as had abdominal pain for 3 days.Rang at 1 minute past 8 and was on hold for 45 minutes!!How can this be, there cant be that many people in front of me at that time, 1 minute when the phone lines open.On hold again as i write this, i know that if and when i get through all the appointments will be gone.Dont want to use 111 or A&E as they're already busy.So frustrating.
