I feel compelled to share my recent experience about the post office in your branch. It was nothing short of a nightmare. The two ladies working there were not only unhelpful but incredibly rude and disrespectful.Instead of assisting me, they chose to mock and belittle me. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially at a place meant to provide essential services to the community.I had such a terrible experience that I've made up my mind never to use this branch for any postal needs. I'd rather go out of my way to visit a different post office than subject myself to such heartless treatment.I hope you understand that everyone has their troubles, but treating others with kindness and respect should never be compromised. Your employees' behavior was simply inexcusable.For your information, being busy and running out of time is not an acceptable excuse to treat others poorly and neglect each customer's needs.

I always find the staff extremely rude and abrupt. Today I was asked what was in the envelope I was posting, I told her it was a cheque and she demanded to know how much for. I insisted I wanted a stamp, nothing more but was pestered to pay for insurance, tracking, next day delivery?I have the same problem every Christmas when I post parcels, what is in it? I tell them it has no prohibited items but they refuse to accept it until I disclose the contents. From today I will use the post office in a nearby supermarket. Just so rude.

Be very careful when taking a parcel the the post office in WHSmiths as to make sure they know the value as they under value a item if lost. Have week of waiting now that nothing gets lost as could be out of pocket by hundreds of pounds. This is nothing to do WHS as the post office is a franchise.25/02/2023BE WARNED, this is to do with the post office section and not WHS shop. Again they have over charged us for postage, we asked for second class and then got told a small package would be £5.35. I queried the cost and was told it was correct. I said the prices gone up and once home after finishing the rest I had to do downtown I checked the cost. Well it should have been £2:85 so I checked the receipt and they had charged for 1st class. This is not the first time this as happened as normally my wife takes my package down for me and she has had it happen to her.

Post office at the back of WHSmiths, the post office staff was quite rude, only 2 serving with a big queue, someone jumped the queue. Plus, I saw one of the counter staff chuck someone's parcel on the floor. Let's hope nothing is breakable in it.

woman working yesterday in the post office thinks she runs royal mail apparently telling me I need to weigh my parcel when every other post office i?ve been to weighs them for you when it is a prepaid label that I had paid for up to 2kgs of weight also refused to give me it back, wouldn?t post here rude little woman

This company is going down the pan big time! It's like a time warp to the 90s with overpriced stock and useless staff. The post office here is particularly terrible, they want you to use self service even though staff are sitting behind the counter. Today a member of staff stood there watching me use the self-service like a goldfish, then when I went to post my parcel helpfully said "I hope that is a medium parcel or it won't go!". She then proceeds to the woman sitting behind the desk to check the parcel who says "Why didn't he want Special Delivery?" and she bellows out "I know he didn't want it for some reason" I thought why argue with idiots and left. Shocking service!

Great place, they have a lot of different things to buy that are useful and with a great selection of books that not many places in Essex have with an amazing group of staff that's always willing to help if you need it.

6 counter but 2 counter service in operation. Long quePost office must look this matter they pay for 6 counter and WHsmith provide service on 2 counter
