Would not recommend this chips shop, chips were cold and curry sauce tasted bad the only decent thing was the jumbo sausage. I spent over £14 for it to be cold and dry.

I ordered a large portion of chips and was greeted with 7 chips which i find disgusting i also had cod which had bones in it and was cold. this place is disgusting and i would not be surprised if it shut down. i imagine the management to be awful and its not just me who thinks this the reviews are there to prove it. i will be contacting the council regarding this as its a joke my partner even thinks its disgraceful who has stopped coming here since last thursday when she ordered around 1 o clock and said her food was awful as it made her ill i find this disgraceful this place leaves another bad stain on Laindon as if there isn?t enough already!!!

absolutely shocking! almost £5 for around 15 chips. ordered 2 poutines & 1 cheesy chips? £15 for this amount of chips is shocking. will not be returning now have lost a loyal customer. whats worse is i contacted the shop and apparently the boss has advised this is the portion size and if the workers send any more then it will come out of their wages!!! bad management too

I wasn't happy with my order the saveloy was stone cold n hard like it was left over from night before, and also I had cod roe it's meant to be plump and thick unfortunately it was really thin and salty which ruined it for me, and to be honest chips wasn't all that either, however lady who delivered to me was lovely n polite unfortunately the food let it down for me. I wouldn't recommend the chippy to anyone.

Service ok. Got in as soon as opened.
Battered Sausage clearly warmed up from night before as were the chips.
Very dissapointed.
Would expect more from any Chip Shop.

Terrible service, ordered through uber, order didn't arrive when I called for updates they kept gaslighting me saying it coming only to eventually tell me they did deliver it to me which they obviously didn't hence why I was calling asking where my order is. Was not apologetic at all. Would have rathered they told me it wasn't coming so I could have ordered else where.

Honestly one of the worst chippies I?ve ever dared to put in my body. Chips were dry and mashy in the middle and cold, the fish was slimey with a terrible aftertaste, and the chicken burger was dry and chewy. No amount of mayo and ketchup could save these awful portions.Would not recommend, go anywhere else!

I've been ill lately and fancied fish and chips and a lovely cold pickled gherkin. What I was given was fish, chips and disgusting mushy peas! The lady serving at counter was friendly and nice but she wasn't so busy that she should have made that mistake! As she picked it up she should have felt it was a tub as she said 'gherkin'. The food otherwise was nice but because I've been ill I was really disappointed by this mistake. Will I go back? I'm not sure
