Assisted self checkouts are a joke and don't work. Instead of having somebody standing over the self checkout, correcting it's failures, put them on a proper till checkout and customer's will get through quicker and less frustrated.

Is this store on the decline, can?t get half the stuff I want, personal shoppers just block up the aisles and won?t move so the customers are constantly trying waltzing around them, most of the self service tills don?t do cash, the member of staff putting out the flowers is that slow I?m wondering is he dead and someone forgot to tell him and then there?s the cafe which is so slow if you want breakfast you best order it the day before that?s if you can get the ladies attention, I?ve decided I would rather wait till the Tesco? store at Mandeville Way is open and come back to the mayflower.

Very rude staff member wouldnt let me buy an energy drink because I dont look 16?!! Im 23 and a bartender and have tattoos. She either needs a new set of eyes or new training

This morning I saw a member of Tesco staff having a go at 3 of the African workers who do the cleaning, right in front of customers. This should be done in a private place as it looks unprofessional and is probably illegal in employment law.

Horrible women on the self checkout section. She hates her job so much she feels the need to have little power trips by ignoring you when the self checkout mis behaves, Which is frequently. Try not to disturb her by asking if she would like to come and help you, because after she has done the biggest eye roll ever she will still ignore you. My advice love, get another job where you work in a room on your own!!

This morning I went to click and collect for the first time. I messed up the QR code and a gentleman came out to help me. He was wonderful . He took his time, stayed with me and talked me through whilst I did it. Then a wonderful I think Irish lady delivered my groceries. She was so sweet and very courteous. And left me with a lovely greeting. I?ll certainly be back. I hope you can thank them for doing an excellent job.

I wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful experience with Felisia during my recent visit to the store. She was working at the self-checkout area, and her assistance made my shopping trip much more enjoyable.
From the moment I approached the self checkout, Felisia greeted me with a warm smile and offered her help right away. I was having trouble with a couple of items, and she patiently guided me through the process, ensuring that everything went smoothly. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made a big difference in my overall experience.

I been shoping to Tesco this weekend , I used for the first time self service checkout and I find it really easy , Felicia ( one member of the staff) very friendly and helpful, she made my day

Not the best, choice very limited, trolleys usually knackered out and the place is showing its age and could do with a good clean self serve tills too narrow even for a small shop with the usual staff who like to hoard the carrier bags and walk around with them all day in case they get lonely.
Taxis do not like going here, expect to be waiting 30 minutes for a taxi on average, despite there being a taxi office literally up the road

Security guard grabbed me by my backpack while in the car-park and accused me of stealing. (Basis? I "beeped when I left the store" despite all my shopping being food that was non tagged)
Then illegally touched me, tried to drag me back to the store by grabbing my backpack which was still on my back. Disgusting.

It large a Tesco's with lots of free parking BUT be very careful of the uneven road surface and if you're using the click and collect there is no call button and the telephone doesn't work 66% of the information is not correct.
Also be very conscious of the QI scams that take you to a place

Overall, it is okay. However, my mother came home with shopping from click and collect, and as I open the strawberries in the fridge, I see they are mouldy already, so thank you for whoever did our click and collect because it was a waste of money and I got no strawberries to eat.
