I went in to the branch today, and had to make a transaction on a house buy. The man was absoutely brilliant, knew exactly what he was doing, the service was so good, decided to come on here and leave a review!. Myself and my father was impressed with how the service was so fast, the man was really helpful as well.

Went into Basildon branch today to open an Isa. Was met at the door by cashier 'Cara'. What a helpful young lady. She explained, she could guide me through it my phone (as she wasn't an advisor'). Well she should be. She completely changed my accounts around to benefit me. Am now so much better off. Gave great advise and explained everything so I would understand (difficult) and helped me set up the Isa. She is an asset to Santander, gave great customer service, which is rare these days and look forward to asking for her help in the future. We'll done Cara. Thank you doesn't cover it.

I am with them since Abbey national. Every year customer service gets worst. People have patience with them because used to be a great bank once. They think they can get away with reducing branches and time of support.

It is ok but parking is not free although 1.00 for 30 minutes opposite is not too bad I guess. Bit it you have shopping to do in range then park in their carpark as you get 2 hours free

A desk clerk argued with me in front of a lobby full of people stating i did not have power of attorney over my mum. Who did is see and do i know what a power of attorney is etc.... i asked to see manager. Was told one was not in. Eventually taken by another woman into office who looked at my account and declaored i was right about the power of attorney just one document was required. They wrote to my sick mother for this. No me thus why not produced.
