Food is always very good here. Staff are all very accommodating and friendly. Very good with young kids too.
Only negative I would say is it does look a bit grubby inside. Marks all over the windows and floors, cutlery and glasses have water marks. Could do with a really deep clean, however this does not put me off wanting to return again.

A mixed experience. Firstly, the food was lovely. Pizzas were perfect and gorgeous. Service was very poor - very slow, I had to get up and go looking for them when we wanted a desert menu (despite the place have just 4 customers at the time,,, staff just stood chatting), then when we wanted something the two staff were just sitting at a table having another chat. I have to say that on previous visits in the evening time,.service was fine. Another downside is that it's pretty filthy. Toilets need a deep-clean, carpet in entrance really needs a vacuum, it's manky. Floors and some seats getting need replacing as broken/worn. When the place is as quiet as it was, the staff could maybe pick up a vacuum at the very least.

Very poor service, from the lacklustre welcome, to no one even taking our drinks order (let alone a food order) for 30 minutes after being seated, despite it being a quiet Sunday evening - needless to say we left, and took our custom elsewhere!

I had such a great time at pizza express with my family this christmas time. We got served by Harry, he was such a lovely person who brought such a warm and happy spirit with him when serving us. Couldn?t thank him enough for helping us with the menu! Will definitely be returning!

So the food was good but the waitress was bizarre. She stood at one end of the table shouting across. She was clearly busy but I don?t think you should convey that to customers. She just seemed annoyed when we wanted desserts / more drinks. We were a table of 8 for my son?s 13th and the boys said they felt she was constantly annoyed. We usually tip well but for the first time we didn?t tip.
Wouldn?t go back.

This is probably one of the worst Pizza Express's I've been in. The staff were slow and churlish and the windows and doors haven't seen a cleaning product in God knows how long. The food was exactly what we ordered - nothing particularly inspirational.
