I have had an awful experience here with the grooming. Initially my dog was being groomed by a lovely girl called Kayleigh who has sadly left. We then proceeded to take my puppy to his puppy groom where Kirsty and Kacie have decided to shave his chest and not make us aware when we arrived to collect him, we arrived 5 minutes early to the end of his appointment which is only 45 minutes long, he has never been finished early but we saw that he was not standing on the table being finished or having his collar clipped back on which he usually is. After entering the grooming salon I could hear a puppy crying I asked Kacie is that him and she replied ?probably? she didn?t rush to get him for us and we continued to make comments such as ?he doesn?t like being on his own, he is never left alone usually he?s not used to it? and she proceeded to look on her computer and ignore what I was saying all she wanted to do was get him booked in for his first full groom and extort more money out of us. After getting him home from a walk and taking off his collar and coat I noticed that he was bald on his chest from his collar bone to the bottom of his ribs. He is a long haired Shihpoo and it is blatant that he has been purposefully shaved. We would not have a problem with this if he had mats but at the handover when collecting him we was told nothing as Kacie was the girl ?handing over? when Kirsty is the one who groomed him which I found odd. I also asked how he has been at handover and the young girl said ?from what I saw looking over he was alright?, she was not informative, very rude and very blunt as if she just wanted to book us in for his next groom and go. They had also not stated on his contract of grooming form that no areas had been shaved and nothing had been shaded in on the diagram to say he had been shaved and to top it off they had filled in the form for us already and circled ?consent to clipping: no?? after coming home and seeing the bald patch we instantly tried to call but no one was there as this was after 6pm and they were now shut for the weekend so on Monday a complaint was made by my partner and Zoe (the manager) initially sounded very upset by our complaint and had some compassion about what had happened. My partner was then told he would get a call back the following day which didn?t happen when he called back another member of staff answered who we knew and told the story to, to which they were mortified also and told him that the manager had left for the day and she will call us back the following day (Wednesday) we had still heard nothing and after myself having to call up and raise the concern again at 9am on Thursday morning I was laughing at by the manager Zoe and told ?I don?t know what you want me to do I can?t glue his hair back on, we?re just going around in circles here? whilst laughing down the phone. I expressed how disgusted I am and how they have lost a customer due to her response to our complaint. All we wanted was some acknowledgment to the wrong doing and an apology but we were pushed to one side and laughed at.
Do not take your puppy to the groomer salon at pets at home Pipps hill the girls are unprofessional and rude. And the manager doesn?t care what they do to your dog/puppy.

Staff needs mental support.
They can easily blame you for being rude while they are rude towards you. They ruined my day.
Will never put my foot in this store anymore.

Please never take your pet there!!!!
we came for a visit because my dog ??could not stand on his leg - Mrs. Anna the vet was afraid to check his paw she brought help she prescribed him inflammation medication she told us to come back in a week we asked for an x-ray for an antibiotic she said it was not necessary ... 14 hours later at another vet we are fighting for the dog's life because there is a very strong appeal if there is no improvement he will go to the operating table tomorrow ???
Please check every vet you go to so that you don't have what we are going through now.!!!

Was given wrong information by a staff member about measurements for an item for our dog. Ours was totally right and the advice was telling us we needed to change sizes. Will be ordering elsewhere.

Best place for advice on animals

Lady didn't wanted to sell me hamster asking for cage picture or receipt, any cage I would show her wasn't good enough the best would be if we would buy it at this pets at home, ridiculous, but they are keeping animals in a tiniest cages possible and saying that apparently they are they're only for 3or4 days and then someone is buying them like someone is coming to pets at Home every single day for a hamster

Jobs worth. Young girl behind the desk was arguing with two managers. I didn?t have a receipt only the pets at home card scan. Only went to exchange a dog food which is made by them for a smaller breed as they gave me the wrong one. No customer service skills at all ?

Called to register my kitten, Rhiannon helped me and was very friendly. I also bring my other cat for checkups and collect his flea and wormer never too much to ask staff for these. Always had excellent service from reception staff to vets. Well done
