Always had good experiences with Jit and those in the store. Over the years I've posted many large items at the post office at the back of the shop and have always had a service that I'd class as being above and beyond. Jit has always been extremely friendly and helpful. While we moved out of the area some years ago, it was really nice to see Jit again this morning with the same friendly, family orientated service!

Disgusting how they treat their customers. They open and shut whenever they want, some things are really over priced. They put £5 on tobacco, if you can, go to the other side of Basildon to one stop, Asda or Tesco as it is a lot cheaper. Apparently the past 3 times I?ve gone in there now British Gas isn?t working and I?m unable to top my meters up, but I can go down the road and use another shop and all of a sudden British Gas is working. It?s beyond a joke! All because they can?t be bothered to top my gas and electric up as I put so much on so it needs doing more then once, feels like as I top my meters up monthly I?m unable to use there shop. But even if I only want to top it up with £20 they still refuse to do it, due to my cards are rubbish and don?t like topping up and they are sensitive, I have got many new cards and still have the same problem: they also sell vapes and energy drinks to school children. Would stay away, less your a kid. Then you know you can get your vapes and energy drinks from there. If you try and go in 15/20 mins before they close they tell you, you can?t get anything you want as they are cleaning up, or just swept the floor so you can?t go in.

Don't even know where to start. I bought a 4 pint bottle of milk on Thursday, only to go home and see that the lids been opened and seal has been peeled back. Went back to the shop and explained, telling them it could of been spiked or spat in, or even gone off. The refused me a refund and refused to change it, telling me there was no proof of this and that I could of done it. I left the milk on the till and left. Such disrespectful staff.

Literally just bought a wrap from this shop. The wrap is literally raw dough, raw dough wrapped around pink chicken tikka. Please don't buy the wraps unless you want food poisoning. I live on disability money and this was my last £2, wasted on a wrap that is entirely uncooked

Went on 26/5 at 5pm, a bearded man served me at the till & told me off for using my own carry bag . I felt I was in school being told off by a teacher pointing fingers at me very rude... The owner should teach this man customer service .
