I cannot speak to highly of all the staff at this branch. I have little experience of banking online and Emma,Kayleigh,anelia and all the other staff have helped me switch and set up new savings account online.They are all a credit to Nationwide

Very disappointed today with this branch today. I have power of attorney over my mums account issued by the courts which Nationwide at Basildon have on file I called first with my request to withdraw an amount of money. Was invited into the branch and needed two forms of ID. On arrival showed my ID and the amount that was needed for building work on mums bathroom. The cashier checked with a supervisor and was refused the money stating they wanted an invoice first. Never knew that Nationwide could over rule a court who issued a power of attorney.Was told it?s to prevent scams.I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. I?m ex forces and retired Police so have tuff skin and it would never normally bother me but it was not in an office it was at the main counter.Thinking of closing mums account. Totally disgusted with nationwide.

I don?t normally do this especially in this format. Aimee T showed me exceptional customer service and empathy. This happened when I called to discuss an ATM issue I had abroad. Aimee resolved the issue from start to finish. Kept me regularly updated periodically and then called me to notify that it had been resolved. This is the first time I have had such comprehensive service with a bank. If you working definitely you can?t find this branch open ? their program it?s useless 10 - 16.30 ? not even one day finishing late ? and thinks like deposit a check ONLY at the branch can be done ? thinking seriously to move on other place ?
