Customer service is bad!! A lot of kids working in this store. When you enter the store your ignored even though there are staffs at the tills and at the entrance.

Love my product and there are always free parking spaces outside the store

To Whom it may concern,I?ve shopped at JD sports all my life but the way I?ve been treated at the Basildon west gate branch is disgusting. I?ve spoke to head office on 2 occasions I?ve drove down to the store 3 times now, as I was told by staff on the phone to come down but when I get there nobody including the manager Matt can seem to help me.Last Tuesday 24th January 2023 I purchased some Nike running trainers for £65.10 everything seemed to be going as normal until the young lady asked me if I wanted a bag for the trainers.She tried to put the bag through but was unsure how to do that, she was pressing different option on the touch screen then went whoops. She called for the manager to come over who I believe to be named Matt. Matt was unable to help me and asked me to pay again, luckily I have online banking and could show him the money had been attempted to be taken out my account. He then told me it was pending and will get blocked by JD sports or the bank, because I wouldn?t pay twice, which there?s no reason why I should have to pay twice because the young lady has been insufficiently trained. The following day the money came out my account I contacted the store and got told to go down there, when I got there I believe Matt was then not working and told to return on Saturday in between the hours off 10am-12 which I did, I then got there Matt was unable to see any transactions he said but I even printed a bank statement off from Santander which proves the money been took from my account. Matt then told be to contact back today and said the money takes 3-5 working days it?s now been 6 working days I?ve not received no money not a phone call or anything which I?ve been promised by store manager Matt.In the mean time I?ve spoke 2 JD sports head office in Bury on both occasions the employees have said they have never heard off a case like this and that the store will have to compensate me as well as refund my purchase. I feel scammed by a company like JD sports which is shocking I also work for British Gas a large company and we have to compensate our customers if the unlikely event off a unfortunate situation occurs like this, even customer care off jd sports telling me this.3 separate occasions I?ve visited the shop each time paying £2 to park in the car park just to be told they need to speak to there manager but the staff in the branch keep telling me to come down.I need this resolved ASAP as I?m left fuming with this service I?m going to have to contact the police or newspapers as a next step as I?ve basically been scammed from this JD sports Branch.I hope to here something from you soonAnthony Radden
