“Went in hunt if some gym food, protein packets and other bits and the prices was so good I had to double my shop! Good amount of other items on sale and a decent selection of what I wanted, staff had a ‘happy to help’ vibe and I went when it was so busy.”

“I thought I was reviewing some other store. Apologies for previous rating.Farmfoods is a surprise store, you need to walk in to discover what you get here. You get loads of stuff apart from the title and many more items. Its a supermarket but not so mini as you think. get in to know it”

“Iceland was perfectly located for my important venture, saved me parking up somewhere else, shame basildon town centre has been ruined with a lack of decent shops forced to close since pandemic”

“Helpful staff, huge well stocked shop and separate petrol station.Airline can be locked sometimes so worth phoning to ask if its operational if you wake up to a flat tire!”

“They are doing great but I think they have to work more on their queue management....I guess the management needs to employ more staff in order to solve this problem of customers standing too long in the queue.”

“Staff always friendly. Never really have to queue as always plenty of staff on checkout. 99% of the time we find what we need. Only problem is #Holes who dont know how to put their trolleys back and leave them scattered.”

“I just want to know why their croissants NEVER smells fresh? Even when we go there in the morning the bakery ovens always look like they stopped working a long time ago. I always associate Lidl with freshly baked croissants. I hope the new Lidl at Pips Hill (if theres going to be one) won't disappoint!? . And why does the bread go off and becomes mouldy so quickly?”

“Local shop to myself and I always find what I'm looking for.Staff are friendly and the store is clean. Prices can be a little high on some products, but handy for that "quick purchase".P.s don't go in school rush! ?”

“Was on a walk and fancied a hot chocolate and noticed they sold costa (the machine one), got that along with really nice bakery bit :) very clean and tidy shop, friendly customer service ☺️”

“Always friendly and helpful, this is a great pharmacy. If they don't have what you need in stock, they try to suggest an alternative (obviously where appropriate), and they are always willing to give help and advice. They have a great text service to let you know when prescriptions are ready to collect, so no wasted journeys. They also offer service such as BP checks and the flu injection.”

“Usually a good "corner shop" which we use regularly. We have had an issue with 4 milks purchased over 2 day that seem a bit funky. They had 4/5 days left but didn't taste "right".”

“Ahhhh man Connie and Susana I scanned the QR code to leave your review on the Tesco site but I needed my 4 numbers from my receipt, and as you well know Connie I said don’t worry about printing it (needless to say now you know next time to insist lol) anyway I’m begrudgingly giving Connie this 5 star review tonight because although she seriously shaded me tonight by sticking up with my mrs she was actually a total breath of fresh air who dealt with 3 very merry ladies (not totally drunk as Connie implied lol) in a very professional, non rhetoric, commercial way she had a laugh with us and that these days is rare as staff who unfortunately work for big corporate companies are now drilled to not have a friendly personal rapport with customers and this is a shame! Connie keep it up it’s well known people either leave these reviews if they have had a bad experience or a really good one and in this case it’s a really good one (do not Google drunk lol) oh and there’s also a shout out to the little conchita Susana who joined us in the end! So to the BM of Pitsea Tesco hold on to these two! And hey train your staff to take a leaf out of their book because trust me these guys make the store and keep you where you are”

“Young lady on the checkout very helpfully pointed out what I was searching for (gum). Would have been 5 stars only was in the toilet and a member of staff had a pee and didn't wash his hands!?”

“Despite the inherent business of large format superstores, this branch seems to keep on top of merchandising and availability. The staff are friendly too.Prices are in line with expectation, give are the days where Asda was the cheapest player, but there's still good value to be had.”

“I would really like to thank a lovely member of staff ,Lisa. A lovely lady that helped me with my 19 month old grandson today. He found the experience very tiring. He nodded off as I was scanning my trolley shop. Lisa very kindly held his head until I'd scanned and packed my shopping and then very kindly carried him down to my car. Thank you so much Lisa for your help today. A very grateful nanny xx”
