“I was apprehensive about buying a new mattress but Daniel put me at ease first by suggesting the Sleepmatch and while only 3 minutes long it was quite relaxing, and he asked if I'd like tea/coffee/water, a nice gesture!! He showed me 3 mattresses Sleepmatch suggested to try out and using one of their pillows, I did and I chose the Hyde and Sleep Deluxe! Daniel was very pleasant, helpful, not at all pushy and he made the whole experience very easy and stress free, even paying was wasn't stressful!! Usually end up leaving with something.
Changing rooms are always clean and accessable.
The store is clean and well stocked.
Don't generally go upstairs to the mens department or homeware.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Can't fault anything.”

“Went into B&Q Basildon today, looking for taps, and new doors for our kitchen, firstly a young lady who worked in the garden department, came to help us with the taps, she was so helpful and knowledgeable, secondly the young man, who helped price all our doors, and other items for our kitchen, he was extremely helpful, not pushy, he was a real pleasure !! And lastly a really lovely young man, who was called to help us purchase a drill,, all of these employees where excellent, and wished us a lovely day.
Im leaving this review as we are often quick to criticise, but not so quick to praise !!

“Thank you George from the Pipps Hill, Basildon store. George attended to our carpet order in the shop. He waspleasant and very helpful. As was the surveyor who came to our home to measure up etc.The fitters Paul and Leo, I believe,did an excellent job and tidied up before leaving. We have no complaints. My one complaint was the pushy salesman from the previous day,, and the only reason I went back to the shop, is because I went to Dfs to order some furniture and they were next to the Dfs shop.”
