1 star is too much for this store. They are so awful in the store, no one seems to have any idea what they are doing. Customer service is so poor and they all have the worst attitude towards any question that you ask! The lady who was dealing with us was rude and untrained, when she went out to ask foe help the manager apparently was too busy lifting boxes to help the very busy store out the front. Absoloutley disgraceful service in there.

Absolute shambles! Useless staff and poorly trained.
Visited to sign up for 2 new contracts, and a broadband package (transferring from o2). Pretty much handing over £160+ a month. Previous EE business customer, which has caused untold issues with consumer products since, even 5 years later, because of email address conflicts which the head office still can?t resolve.
The store agent was poorly supported, and ended up doing several credit checks, spelled my name incorrectly, etc. and then advised i was unable to secure the deal, despite passing credit checks. This then meant they had to increase the pricing, even after potentially messing up my credit rating. My retired mother and a pensioner managed to secure the same deal, and has no credit rating whatsoever. An absolute joke!
A 2 hour ordeal and still unresolved. I now need to spend hours on the phone to EE cancel the broadband package because they?re unable to undo their mistake in store!
The staff seem to get by with bantering with the customers like they?re down the pub. An absolute joke, with chav customers lingering by the door blowing vape inside.
And to top it all off, overstayed at the parking because of their absolutely useless support and will probably get a fine as a result.
Avoid this store and seriously consider a different operator that invests in proper staff training and basic IT skills.

Sales staff are unethical, didn?t explain key terms such as price going up 30 days later. Then lied to say they had, refused to cancel the contract. I had to bypass the store and have EE directly cancel the contract.

My 84 year old grandmother went into your store with her 2017 Samsung which is on an over priced SIM deal with far more data than she has ever needed. She asked about possibly reducing her bill or about changing to another provider because she shouldn't be paying as much as she is for her minimal use. They LIED to her saying she cannot upgrade until April (5 months from now), and if she did leave now to find it cheaper elsewhere the new provider "would steal the money on her account". She was so confused. When she came to visit she told me about it, I sent a text to 65075 to get her PAC and it said it would cost £2.78 to leave today.Absolutely shameful that your sales staff would lie to an elderly lady like that. We will never use EE again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about how your staff behave towards the elderly and how they will say anything to take advantage of them.I am also making an official complaint to trading standards and Ofcom.

A Lady called Sarah was an absolute dream last week, brilliant. And just had a conversation with a young man called Mitchell, equally intent on providing a good service. I was told to go to this Basildon shop for this reason, and my friend was right, brilliant staff.No hesitation in recommending this place. If you've got a problem, visit these people!

Very helpful,went to upgrade my 21+ to 23 ultra, took a little bit longer than I would of liked,but got there,also got a 10" tablet ,for more or less the same total of previous contract,good deals out there ,if you've got time,excellent service !
