The best cafe in Basildon. I've been going here since I was a child for almost as long as I can remember. I've easily eaten here 100s of times. Out of these hundreds of occasions- how many bad meals do you think me and my family have gotten from here? Zero. Not once have we even had a bad meal or experience here. The staff are always so lovely and accommodating. We are all very fussy eaters (sorry!) but they always manage to accommodate us even offering to swap items for alternatives we like. The food is so tasty and such good value for money. If i could recommended you a few dishes they'd be the paninis, frankfurter grill and the jacket potatoes. I hope I get to eat here for many more years. Thank you dream cafe for such wonderful service and food - many good memories have been made in your cafe!

I don't often visit basildon, but decided to go one day, i was hungry and fancied a cuppa tea, I visited this cafe , I sat outside as was lovely day, had lunch and cup of tea, the service was wonderful and the 2 young waitresses chantel and shelly i think their names were , they were fantastic, friendly helpful and service, and not tonforget their beautiful smiles, will definitely go again when I visit basildon

Waitresses here are really polite and pleasant. Great little place for a bite to eat.
Omlette was cooked perfectly, really tasty and not greasy!

Food is lovely, always fast, price not bad
But biggest asset to this business is waitress Shelly, she is always so friendly, chatty and happy
Seems like she loves her job which is so lovely to see

Was a regular here but after many stomach upsets I soon realised it was having breakfast at this place, I became very aware of there hygiene wasn't up to scratch, I will never come here again...Please ppl take my warning seriously.

Go here every time we vist family. But this time can't not fault the food but the grandchildren wanted a pancake we were told the item had 2 pancakes but the children only wanted one each . The waitress said she could not split the order and put a pancake on separate plates. Not impressed normally would leave a tip but not this time.

I have always enjoyed their services and food until today which has nothing to do with their food. My client ordered his meal but I informed the waiter I wanted nothing but Just lemon in hot water which I take sometimes when I am having nothing in cafes or restaurant without any fee. This was not the case with dreams. My client paid for his meal and as we were about to leave , a staff walked up to me that I had not paid for my drink. I told him I had never paid for it in other cafes/ restaurant and pressured it was the same here. I also questioned the charges for the hot water and 2 tiny slices of lemon,the staff answered "its not free" I said it was fine and paid. I stepped out and told myself that was the last time I was going to patronise them.
