Very big Store lots to look at went to buy a Laptop had loads to see but still had to wait a few days to for Currys to deliver they did not have in stock in that store. the member of staff was very friendly and helpful. Very busy had a problem parking but it' was Saturday but very nice store to visit.

Arrived found the product I needed. But to find a member of staff who wants to sell you something or allows you to purchase something is non existing.Management need to employ more staff especially during a sale period. So could of spent £200 like i Intended to. Waited over 40mins asking passing staff to help but no one had the time or interest. What a load off rubbish. Even their adverts give promise, but no gold at the end of the rainbow here. Ended up walking away empty handed in fact poorer after fueling car and wasting my time. Sort it out curries in basildon your a failure.

I ordered my dishwasher online, delivery date came they couldn?t install it even though I paid. When the delivery people left I got my old dishwasher out and unwrapped my new one ready to install myself. After unwrapping the new one it was damaged, after 5 phone calls to customer service and an hour with no luck I drove to Basildon to ask for their help, it took a while as they had to refund and re arrange delivery but they sorted it and were extremely helpful. Online staff were rude and really stressed me out. It was really busy in there today due to everyone returning Christmas presents but they got it sorted.

Went to Basildon curry?s to exchange a faulty item. Very disappointing customer service. Had to wait for a long time. When we approached the manager he said there?s no one to assist except for one person. While few of staff including manager was standing around .

Tried to buy a TV . Waited for sales person. Went to front desk who said they would get someone to help. Waited 25 mins. Shop assistant who was going to store room joked its quicker to just pick one up and walk out with it. In the end I walked out and brought the same tv on Amazon £350 cheaper. I won't be going back.

Oh dear...I know the Black Friday deals are on, but you don't expect to be kept waiting for 10 minutes to see a 'specialist' who then tells you they have no tablets in stock...but he can order it for you online. I CAN DO THAT AT HOME!Strangely, I can click and collect within 1 hour at Argos......

I have never seen such a shambolic store in all my life. No tills work when you want to use a gift card, but to pay it all by card? Straight through, no problem. Store general manager is about as useless as I've seen in any store or line or work, ever. Staff can't do much more and get zero extra help from said manager. 30+ minutes to purchase 1 item I found in less than 3 is a complete joke.

Seriously if I could give this company and branch a negative 10 star I would!!!!! avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid .I toke my laptop in for a repair on the 31st of October for a repair because my laptop would not turn on, the power function would come on however there would be a blank screen afterwards, I handed my laptop to the store in confidence that it would be sent for a repair the next working day. To my shock and horror the laptop stayed at the store for 9 working days, I received a text on the 9th of November from Currys advising that my laptop had finally arrived at the repair centre and so I called the helpline the next day to findout the status of the repair and I was informed that the laptop had water damage and if I wanted it repaired I would have to pay 200 pounds as "accidents are not covered in care plan",The most worrying part of all of this is that no one in the store or customer helpline can explain to me why the laptop was in transit for 9 days which begs the question what happend to the laptop while it was away, to make matters even worse when I went into store to find out what had happened, the store manager, Geoff, nonchalantly said I am not an engineer so I don't know and there is nothing on our systems to tell us why there was delay in sending your laptop away and he basically accused me of bringing the laptop in with a water damage. When I attempted to raise a complaint via customer service they told me to go back in store to do that. Absolute cowboys the whole lot of them, shocking and appalling service!!!! Disgrace
