After weeks of trying so many different paint samples from retail stores and not finding the right colour, we eventually came across Crown Decorating Centre. I rang into store on Saturday 8th of July as I had moved to Colchester, and couldn?t remember the shade of paint we brought in lockdown from Crown Paints Basildon. Denise answered my call and went above and beyond trying to help me. After searching on the computer with no luck she promised to look upstairs in the archives to see if she could find anything. I had a date and sure enough she has just called and found the transaction and colour we had. We will be down to purchase again !! Ive been using this branch since they opened and can honestly say all the staff go over and beyond expectations.As a decorator i need suppliers who i trust and who can Advise on best products for certain tasks.The manager Dave is full of knowledge of their products and extremely helpfull.Denise is an absolute diamond, nothing is too much trouble and takes time to call me every couple of weeks if they aint seen me to make sure alls ok.Char is another diamond, again just like Den always helpfull.

As we are decorating a few rooms in our house this year we decided against expensive (and we have found previously, not very good) Farrow & Ball paint in favour of Crown - and we are so pleased we did!!!The lady in the store, Denise, was exceptionally helpful, and extremely patient with us while helping us decide on the right colours. Her knowledge ensured we got the perfect colours and we found the quality of the Trade Srubbable Matt to be excellent.Thank you, Denise, for suggesting we open an account as the discount is appreciated. Really helpful at store in Basildon, took the time to explain best paint for the areas required, and took it all to the car for me. Would highly recommend, definitely worth that bit extra money for quality paint that does not need lots of coats.
