A slightly odd location in a glass cube in the midde of an odd shopping centre. Surprisingly large amount of seating inside, lots outside but as its in Basildon there was lots of people smoking.
Fast and friendly service on a busy day. Food and drink up to the usual costa standard. I am very much enjoying the christmas menu this year and the black forest hot chocolate was no exception.
Parking: 3hrs parking in ASDA a 10 min walk away

I was there yesterday morning, but it was a terrible experience from one lady that was cleaning the table where you get the sugar etc at that time (between 8.40am - 9.20am) her attitude is not what anyone wants to experience in morning especially in a coffee shop, even the man that was serving/working with her went close door telling her to stop but I heard her screaming from inside for absolutely no reason, her anger was why do i make my coffee next to her. She got so angry and left even didn?t replace the bin. The sad part was she did not say anything to me but I was hearing her voice from inside very loud shortly the man came there taking the rubbish without excusing himself and I moved back and said sorry his response was SHE hasn?t finish cleaning. Though they?re not very friendly there overall which I believe it?s for certain race only based on my personal experience but today was very bad.

there was one lady on cashier
Her behave very bad
i forgot the name but she is fat lady with short golden hair ...
she changed me extra because there was some offers but she changed me full payment
also her behaviour was so bad

I have been to many Costas? but Basildon Town Square?s Costa is a top notch. All the staff are absolutely lovely, & the atmosphere is beautiful. It?s chilled and relax which suits my being. Amazing service.

Lady called Monica with blonde hair verbally abused me while was serving me. Absolutely shocking, the way she was talking to customers unacceptable. What a rubbish service never coming back.

The worst cappucino ever and what is worst the second one was even more dicusting than the first one! What happened with Costa? I have been the cutomer for many years but staff who says you are not pleased with anything (that was just wrong coffee) is absolutely not acceptable. More training on customer service and making the right coffee is absolutely essential in Basildon branch. The rudeness can have roots in lack of right training unfortunately. What a shame. We went to the Lounge. The coffee and service was really good.
