Very poor service at CEX Basildon. Went in to buy a Blu-ray and noticed the disc was clearly covered in fingerprints. When I asked to inspect it more closely, the staff member behind the counter insisted it was clean and refused to hand it over for me to check myself. A more senior employee then tried to explain that it?s their ?policy? not to let customers handle products before buying. Frankly ridiculous ? how can anyone be expected to buy a second-hand disc without being allowed to inspect its condition? Won?t be shopping here again.

Rude staff that barely pay attention to your queries and dont seem to know anything about their own website, and dont seem to offer anything beyond the bare minimum. Lowball offer for my old phone while the B grade phone i looked at was significatly scratched and had a concerning battery health.

I popped in the Cex store at basildon today
And the staff were very helpful
I asked them about a couple of things I was looking for, and they were so very helpful in locating a couple of items

The store is like an Aladins cave of excellent stuff for you ? and It is great to have a good look at all the interesting hitec and games ?
You wonder round in the store for days. And also look for an excellent gift for someone or treat yourself

Dvd from 1 pound ...better then buy from virgin amazon or Netflix...buy dvd cd from 1 pound and keep hard copy ??

SCAMMERS!! DO NOT USE CEX!!!Traded in 2 Tablets and multi phones. Given the price of £212.One of the phones had a screen protector on and was told to remove it so they can grade them properly. Took the protector off and it was in mint condition, no marks what so ever!Received an email saying is downgraded as there is a big scratch across the screen! This could only have happened by staff when handling it after we went as the staff member dealing with us said it?s like new.Now given the price of £170Do not use these thieves! You give them mint things, they can ruin it, and reduce the price without you being able to to anything about it!
