I am rating my experience today doesnt deserve even a 1 star. we are not aware that closing time is 4pm due to bank holiday. i am just trying to buy a emolient cream because my 7 yr old autistic daughter is suffering from night itch due to eczema that hinders her goodnight sleep. We are not stopped or reminded by any staff on the entrance door not to go inside boots because they are about to close so we thought its fine. The old lady in cashier is grumpy. A black lady with 2 kids were paying and she shouted at the kids standing in front of the automatic door maybe trying to go out but its close obviously so when she finished the costumer she open a separate locked door and when they went out she BANG it very hard so I assessed my daughter. My time to pay and she is already pissed I can tell so she scanned my gel and I was told off you cant go out because we are close then she open the same small locked door and BANG it hard that made my daughter scared and jump. She is overwhelm and sensitive with loud noise. Im the one who said sorry for not knowing the closing time but then now I realise no one deserves that kind of gestures to anyone provided i am a costumer with a kid. The cashier is a blonde old lady with short hair ear length. She is so rude. Most establishments have zero abusive behaviour policy but this time the staff is the one being not polite to costumers. I hope the family ahead of me complained as well. I hope manager review the cctv today to see and hear what happen its today aug 25, bank holiday around 1600.

Rude staff especially the asian woman pharmacist. Very strange experience and will not be returning. I don?t know why the pharmacist acts so rude and how Boots have kept her employed after reading all the reviews on here about her.
Avoid, many friendly pharmacies in Basildon and this is not one of them.

Very rude customer service, I have to see a pharmacist for my regular medication and to see a pharmacist have to wait for like an hour

Staff in the pharmacy section (specifically the south Asian female pharmacist and the long, dark haired, white woman) are incredibly patronising and dismissive. They didn?t believe my symptoms, talked down to me like I was a child, and the ?advice? they offered would have cost me 4 times more than necessary.

The waiting time for queues is ridiculous for picking up a prescription.

What a waste of time this place is, the largest pharmacy in Basildon DOESN'T DO REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS unless I go back to my own GP each time and get a new prescription, when all I have to do is phone the chemist opposite my surgery to order a repeat and pick it up a couple of days later, but this means I have to get a bus there. Boots Basildon hasn't arrived in the 21st. century yet.

Pharmacy lady very very rude, just had a tonsillectomy was asking if there is any pain relief they recommend and just kept asking me to repeat myself, then told me to go away and served someone else.

Very, very understaffed for such a large Boots. Shame, as the little staff they have work exceptionally hard

Disgusting place! My doctor decides how many prescription I need per month, not boots pharmacy? Boots decided that I was getting to many eye drops per month so held my prescription back. They know nothing about my condition, but feel they have the right to decide my medication? They don't have that right, It's not there decision it's my doctor's. Terrible!

The shop in in the pedestrian area. There is car parking nearby which you need to pay for just before you leave.
