Went into B&Q Basildon today, looking for taps, and new doors for our kitchen, firstly a young lady who worked in the garden department, came to help us with the taps, she was so helpful and knowledgeable, secondly the young man, who helped price all our doors, and other items for our kitchen, he was extremely helpful, not pushy, he was a real pleasure !! And lastly a really lovely young man, who was called to help us purchase a drill,, all of these employees where excellent, and wished us a lovely day.
Im leaving this review as we are often quick to criticise, but not so quick to praise !!
Well Done B&Q on some excellent staff members, and customer care.

Bought a garden patio set which was too large when packaged to fit in the boot. Someone came out and helped unpack everything and get it loaded in the car. Very helpful.

I recently visited B&Q at Pipps Hill, Basildon and was thoroughly impressed by their garden section, especially the wide variety of flowering plants.
The selection of seasonal flower plants was not only diverse but also well-organized and clearly labeled.
What stood out to me was how easy it was to find everything I needed for my garden in one place?pots, compost, plant food, and, of course, a fantastic range of flowers to brighten up my outdoor space.

Would give a zero but could only do 1star, payed for a delivery of paving slabs, the driver would only drop them at the roadside which would be dangerous in a busy lane, refused to drop them at the top of the driveway which is 80yards from the public road. If it?s to big or to heavy don?t get it from B&Q because you?ll need help or a forklift if it?s really heavy to get your items onto your property. And they will charge you £30 for not quite delivering it !!!!!!!!!!!

Would give b and q 0 if I could. Sent poor quality items. Delayed and when called to discuss they are reading off a sheet. No service at all. Asked for return and money back with no reply from b and q just ignored. Really poor, hadn't received item. Was told would get refund still hasn't happened. Coming up for a month. Just awful. Go to screw fix toolstation or anyone else to be fair
