Called In here for a drink while out riding as a meeting for Essex scooterists friendly helpful staff, some of the group had food and all looked good.

Lovely old thatched pub found by luck we had a warm welcoming from spot the pub dog who came and sat with us for a while the staff were pleasant and ask us if my dog needed a drink put water down
The food was all cooked fresh and the portions were large Lovely atmosphere and everyone was friendly definitely going back

Lovely old pub. Four of us & 1 dog went for Sunday lunch . It was the best food. Large portions. Dog friendly. Very welcoming & friendly staff.

Excellent old English pub, great place to relax and eat, low ceilings and wooden beams are the order of the day, the bar staff are excellent and are friendly and jovial.

Just finished Sunday roast beef. My son had chicken roast. Absolutely gorgeous. Just had to have dessert. Atmosphere so friendly. Had chat with few people. Definitely be going back
