Having recently attended a private function here, haven eaten there aswell, thought a well deserving 5star review was on the cards. Our hosts Sally and Jamie was very welcoming and appeared everywhere all at once. Helping and serving even with there helpers on site the day we visited. It?s a lovely family run business. The beer garden is stunning and many tucked away tables

You?ve got to come and visit the garden in the summer, what a treat! The friendly owners have gone above and beyond to make the whole pub and garden into a nautical theme, the garden especially fun. Nice beer from the Laines too!

A vibrant and colourfully decorated pub which offers great food, friendly staff and a lovely beer garden for outside dining.
Definitely worth a visit as an individual, couple or group.

Faultless food, absolutely delicious. So glad we stopped here. We had lamb shank and nut roast both beautiful and we spilt a homemade treacle tart. Amazing ??

Devastated to not be living near one of the best butchers in the country any more, outstanding quality of meat across the board. Love the nicely curated selection of snacks. It?s a quirky little gem.

Great local pub, friendly staff and nice inside, loved the garden even though it needs a little tlc?
Had a lager brewed along the coast Brighton I was informed. Love the way local pubs are diversifying, as this one is a local butchers and deli. Only gave 4 as didn't eat in but garden has so many unusual plants could be there gem ?

What a great place bright and cheerful, I wish it was my local. And extremely dog friendly which is always a good sign.
Highly recommend.
