Three of us called in for lunch. The pub was quiet, we received a warm welcome. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone (Vegan aside) on a ?proper? traditional pub menu.
Food was excellent, well cooked, generous portions, fair value for money.
I have no idea why this pub, in a fairly busy high street, is so quiet, it shouldn?t be.

Friendly staff. Pleasant locals. Excellent bar menu. Restaurant due to open in future. Best pub in the village. Great garden for good weather. Jam and quiz nights.

Very quiet when we called into the Greyhound, but the pub is clean and tidy. Had a couple of very nice pints in the beer garden.

Came over for lunch (so cannot comment on the rooms) and we left very impressed, fish and chips and a southern fried chicken that were juicy, really well seasoned, and well priced too. I was impressed about the batter for the fish and chips and how the chicken had been breaded because it was crispy yet very light exalting the flavour instead of covering (some pubs make both in a very greasy way and let me tell you it is not the case here).

I really had a great time at this local country pub. The atmosphere was really good and the price was very friendly. The owners are expanding the place and will shortly be opening a restaurant and five double rooms. The little vintage of Wadhurst is wonderful and the whole price is filled with charm. The pub has a really amazing ancient fireplace to cuddle up to with a bottle of wine. I absolutely loved it.

I went to the greyhound inn pub wadhurst today with my mum and dad and my sister mollie for lunch today
